After Hours Winery & Distillery is a beautiful property situated on the Carbunup River flat which is renowned for its fertile alluvial soils.
These soils, along with the mild Mediterranean climate provide us with the favoured micro-climate which contributes to the wonderful quality of After Hours wines.
The Matthews family purchased the established vineyard in late 2005 and the following year embarked on the huge, labour-intensive task of transforming the vineyard by reworking all of the vines to reduce fruit yields and increase the intensity in flavour and quality for which After Hours Wine is renowned. Organic practices are followed in the vineyard to encourage soil microorganisms and beneficial insects in the vines. All wines are grown, made and bottled at the property by Winemaker Phil Potter.

This was one of the wineries we came to as part of our wine tour which my husband and I absolutely loved!
Along with the wine tastings we had a few gin tastings and also tried their vodka, which all tasted top quality, we especially liked their mulberry gin.
The owner was genuine and friendly, and they had quite a cosy atmosphere inside.
This might be one our new favourite wineries, would definitely recommend coming here!!

Warwick takes the time to understand each visitor's preferences and guides them through a personalized tasting journey, ensuring that every sip is a delight, also loved his Mulberry Gin, delicious. Do yourself a favour and put this Winery on your must do list.

What a truely amazing experience! Iâm not sure what my favourite part was⊠from being greeted at our car door by Albert (pictured) then the amazing chats we had with Warwick the owner and of course the incredibly tasty wines and spirits they have! Would definitely recommend this place to everyone!
