A tiny, family-owned and run winery and vineyard just 15 minutes from Busselton. Taste multi-award-winning wines and gin presented by those who make them.
After Hours Winery & Distillery is a beautiful property situated on the Carbunup River flat which is renowned for its fertile alluvial soils.
These soils, along with the mild Mediterranean climate provide us with the favoured micro-climate which contributes to the wonderful quality of After Hours wines.
The Matthews family purchased the established vineyard in late 2005 and the following year embarked on the huge, labour-intensive task of transforming the vineyard by reworking all of the vines to reduce fruit yields and increase the intensity in flavour and quality for which After Hours Wine is renowned. Organic practices are followed in the vineyard to encourage soil microorganisms and beneficial insects in the vines. All wines are grown, made and bottled at the property by Winemaker Phil Potter.
Gindong Gin from Jindong pays tribute to the Group Settlers who originally planted the heritage fruit trees. Using these botanicals, they craft distinctive, small-batch artisan gins and vodkas, produced through traditional pot still distillation methods.
