A family-owned, and organically operated vineyard in the heart of the Margaret River Region. Our portfolio of wines is both exciting and extensive, and will satisfy even the most discerning wine enthusiast.

In 1999, father and son, Spike and Ray Fokkema, established Churchview. The 100-hectare estate has, over the early years, accumulated a total of 56 hectares of vines, growing 16 different grape varieties. Churchview pride themselves on Cultivating, Crafting and Cherishing the land, the grapes, and the wines.

(Cultivated) It is a well-known fact that the creation of a great bottle of wine, starts in the vineyard. Churchview has worked hard over the last 20 years to convert the vineyard from a full conventional, to a certified organically operated vineyard. Our philosophy behind the cultivation of our vines is simple - treating the envirionment with respect and maintaining healthy soils, with organic principals, will ensure the production of pure and quality fruit.

(Crafted) Winemaking - an art and a science, which arguablely amounts to craftsmanship. Churchview aim to craft each bottle as a reflection of the site, and to speak about the vintage, the climate, and the array of flavour profile each season brings.

(Cherished) As wine enthusiasts, we want to share our products with other wine enthusiasts. Whether it's a daily glass over an evening meal, a bottle shared over a romantic dinner, or wine with a family feast - we want our wine to mark an occasion for you to cherish.

We booked in fir the long weekend and got the spot nestled between the trees, overlooking the small dam. Green grassy fields, birds everywhere, and the wine orchards sprawling over the hills. Went up to the cellar door and got the complementary wine tasting. If you are into wine, it is well worth a visit, let alone the fantastic green grassy camp sites. Freindly staff is yet another bonus. If it was not for a buy highway it wpuld have been perfect. Luckily it does down layer evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Churchview Estate is a wonderful hipcamp and we will definitely camp here again. We stayed at Bush view. It was very well protected from the wind, private, bountiful birdlife, lush green lawn and lovely water views. Only downside was when we arrived the wind was blowing towards us so you could hear Bussel highway quite clearly. However when the wind turned more to the SE, it was dampened and much less noticeable. Still a worthwhile stay. 😊
