This ideally located accommodation is just a short stroll to Margaret River town centre restaurants, cafes and shops and is central to the South West Wine Region's many fabulous wineries, breweries, farm gates and natural attractions. The property borders the National Park with forest walk & cycle trails from our door and is close to the Margaret River. The hugely popular Brewhouse Brewery is just 80 meters away.

The six rooms of the Motel are comfortable and clean with all the amenities required to ensure you have a comfortable stay. Decked patios with outdoor settings overlook various gardens throughout the property and the Motel's garden & barbeque area overlooks the National Park's forest. All rooms are non-smoking. Lock up shed for bike storage.

Lovely motel within walking distance of Margaret River town! The rooms are clean and well kept, with all the amenities you need, and the beds are super comfortable. The location is perfect, you feel surrounded by nature while still being only a few minutes’ walk from the main town, which is so convenient. Steve, the owner, is a lovely guy, very welcoming and friendly, and made us feel right at home. Thank you for your hospitality! We’ll definitely be back! 😊

We had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and tastefully equipped with everything we needed. Steve was an incredibly nice and welcoming host, always helpful and full of great recommendations for places to eat and things to see. The location is perfect – close to town, while still being wonderfully peaceful and quiet. Thank you, Steve, for your warm hospitality! We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back one day. Highly recommended!

Spacious rooms with everything we needed. Host was very helpful and had lots of recommendations for places to eat and see. Close to town and walking trails. Even managed to do the Parkrun which starts close to motel. Thanks for the great stay.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had an amazing stay at Edge of the Forest in Margaret River. I had to cut my Easter trip short due to a last-minute operation, and Steve, the owner, went above and beyond by refunding me $250 — such a genuinely kind and understanding bloke. There was also a mix-up with my booking where it didn’t show that I had my kids with me, but Steve was incredibly accommodating and made sure we were all comfortable and able to stay without any hassle. The place itself is peaceful and well set up — great BBQ and lawn area with plenty of shade, and the bathrooms are massive and super clean. There’s heaps of parking, and the surrounding forest is absolutely beautiful. It’s just a short walk to the river and into town, which makes it even better. Thanks again, Steve — really appreciate your kindness and hospitality. Will definitely be back!
