Between September and December you can get the most out of the Margaret River Region, with beaches to yourself and flexibility of booking at top restaurants and local attractions. It’s also a great time when accommodation deals are available. We’ve listed some well-priced accommodation options below, some with great mid-week and weekend rates between now and Christmas.

Hamelin Bay Holiday Park

You couldn’t ask for a prettier location than Hamelin Bay Holiday Park. Situated directly on the bay you are on the doorstep of one of the region’s most picturesque beaches and can take the boat out for some sunset fishing, or cook up a barbie with produce from the on-site general store. Cabins are a convenient and great option, but camping is just as fun and there are plenty of excellent sites under the peppermint trees. With Boranup beach stretching to the north and Cosy Corner to the south, there is so much to discover in this part of the world. And of course – don’t forget to say hello (from a distance) to the wild family of sting rays who live in the bay!

Peppermint Grove Beach Holiday Park

Positioned right on the water on Geographe Bay, and only a 2 hour drive from Perth, Peppermint Grove Beach Holiday Park is an excellent choice to switch off from the world and relax. Imagine your days of taking the 4WD for a drive along the sand, playing a round of mini golf or tennis, reading a book under a shady tree and then taking a bottle of wine down to the beach with a loved one for sunset. Stay Margaret River

If it’s comfort in the heart of town you’re chasing, Rosewood Guesthouse is an obvious choice. Caves Road Chalets

Pack the pooch – this place is dog friendly. And with 64 acres to run, he’ll be happy and worn out at the end of the day. The self contained chalets each feature one or two bedrooms and a flat screen TV. Combine your trip to Caves Road Chalets with a trip to Gnarabup dog beach and breakfast at the White Elephant Café, then lunch at Beerfarm (which also welcomes dogs), and relax at your accommodation with a bottle of wine to finish off the day. They also offer discounted rates for extended stays, so what better excuse to add a few nights to your trip!

Margarets Forest Holiday Apartments

Spacious and modern self-contained apartments on the edge of the rails to trails hiking and biking tracks and a hop, skip and a jump from Margaret River’s main street. Margaret’s Forest Apartments are a great choice if you are interested in exploring the local bushland and river systems, and you won’t have to get in the car once you’re here.  You can walk practically everywhere!

Prices: Margaret’s Forest Apartments offer Spa Studio rooms at $170 per night, with their mid-week special for two-night stays.

Karridale Cottages and Hop Farm

An alternative and rustic accommodation option – set on a secluded Hop Farm in Karridale. Eco-conscious and sustainability themes run throughout at Karridale Cottages and Hop Farm, with studios built of rammed earth and stone sourced from the property. Furnishings are modern and comfortable, and a stunning claw foot bathtub looking out over the bush is the perfect way to relax. Jaspers Accommodation in Pemberton

With an onsite bar serving the largest selection of whisky and bourbon in the south west, along with a curated selection of Pemberton wines, Jaspers is a fantastic getaway further afield from the Margaret River Region. The Broadwater Resort is located in Busselton on the edge of the incredible Geographe Bay. The hotel offers a range of hotel-style or self-contained accommodation options perfect for couples and young families. Bushy Lake Chalets

Positioned between Margaret River’s main town and the iconic Prevelly Point, Bushy Lake Chalets offer a range of farmhouse style homes on 5 acres of woodland.
