An absolutely beautiful venue, which makes it such a shame the customer service was horrendous. There were two older ladies working there when our group of 7 arrived, and from the moment we walked in we felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. It was our last stop on the wine tour and we were running a little late, which we sincerely apologised for, offering to cut our tasting short with no expectation of extra time. They shrugged us off and simply gave us a countdown- "you have 10 minutes"- with no kindness or guidance, just a bad attitude. We brought our wine glasses down to the grass area, not realising it was off-limits. Rather than kindly letting us know, they told us off rudely- and again, what we don't know, we can't help. We're a group of 30-year-olds, and we were nothing but respectful, not at all rowdy. One of our friends poured a glass slightly over the line and calmly apologised, offering to pay for the bottle. Not one but two of the ladies told him off, as if one voice wasn't enough. The second lady then yelled out- in front of other guests, which was thoroughly unprofessional- "I've already spoken to that bloke about that!" regarding that same single glass. I approached them at this point to apologise for any trouble and explain that we'd actually paid for an extra person who hadn't ended up coming, so we certainly weren't trying to shortchange them. I simply asked that they be kind to us, as we'd done nothing wrong. Her response was, "Do not raise your voice at me," followed by more defensiveness. Someone next to me even said, "I don't think I heard you raise your voice?" I assured her I hadn't- I was just asking for a bit of kindness, which is wild that a paying customer even has to request such a thing. We tried to lighten the mood by grabbing a couple of the provided balls to kick around, which didn't seem to bother anyone except the two ladies, who stared at us the whole time like we were scum. We'd bought bottles at every winery before this stop, and simply chose not to here because of how we were treated. We won't be returning. I will also reiterate, we are not the rowdy type of people. We were trying to create an atmosphere that their own staff failed to do, however unfortunately they had made their mind up about us since the moment we walked in. I only ended up having 1 tasting because I was too intimidated by them to even get what I paid for. Edit in response to their reply: not sure what gender has to do with it? We are all humans at the end of the day, but if we are going to be bringing that into it we were half a group of men and half a group of women (couples trip), so what does that mean now? Don’t know your staff well enough it seems. Packing up is part of the job you get paid for, don’t take bookings at the end of the day if it’s going to affect customer experience. We never asked for extra time.

Visited with my family and we are complete wine noobs - the staff there were very patient and kind with explaining everything to us, highlighting tasting notes to look out for, really great service. But let's be real, what we're here for are the wines and boy do they deliver! My wife and mother in law loved the sangiovese, while I was happy to help myself to the fortifieds.

Once would have had 5 stars. Went there on Saturday . Yes busy but my opportunities are limited to go mid week . Confronted by a $15 charge for tasting . Understood for those not serious customers . I have been buying off Happs since 1992 . Have quite a few three hills still in my wine fridge and did say to a lady on duty . I wanted to buy some more . Was treated with disdain so I walked away .
