Happs winery is an innovative, family-owned Western Australian business who believes wine should be accessible and enjoyed by everyone. It's passionate about crafting engaging wines that bring people together to enjoy the moment
Happs’ wines are crafted by adventurous innovators who constantly challenge the status quo to bring you the best tasting, engaging, quality wines.

Happs believes that wine should be accessible and enjoyed by everyone. It wants to show that wine can be fun, easy to choose and understand. Their portfolio boasts more than 40 different wines, which have wide appeal. Happs Wines was the first winery in the region to introduce an outdoor, self-serve wine-tasting experience where you get to try wine from its vast selection in a stunning, relaxing, family-friendly setting.

Funny enough the word 'Happ' means “the cutter of vines” and so the Happs’ family were always destined to produce fine wines to be enjoyed by everyone, whatever the moment.

A visit to Happs Cellar Door offers a range of things to see, do and enjoy. They have an extensive pottery, gallery and gift shop - feel free to browse at your leisure the wonderful handcrafted products. Book yourself in for a pottery workshop when their artists in residence are in town.

You can also enjoy your favourite bottle of Happs with a delicious gourmet picnic hamper. Build-your-own hamper with delicious decadent foods from local suppliers and enjoy with a glass of your favourite Happs in stunning, relaxing surrounds. Happs is proud to host many popular events throughout the year, from cooking classes to Sunday Sessions, classical concerts and ballet performances.

The only SELF-SERVE NO-FEE Winery!!! This is a great winery when it comes to location and experience. Kids and animals can play while you enjoy a few drinks. There is no tasting fee. You can try any wine out of 42 different wines. At the beginning you'll get a glass and the system explained and off you go. BUT: 42 wines are too much of a selection, and there none is really a great wine. I also found that most wines a far above the recommended temperature because there are outside on a shelf simply in some iced water. I recommend it highly for the experience and lovely view but not f you are a wine connoisseur.

Had a great experience here. Free wine tasting, you can taste 5 types at their outdoor tasting location. It’s overlooking a beautiful garden. Very peaceful and tranquil. They have so many diff types of wines - but the sweet wines really stood out.

Beautiful venue with expecting staff. The staff were so welcoming and approachable, I felt very comfortable wandering around and exploring the pottery and grounds. The wines were self-serve tasting which was great. I definitely recommend this winery.

This place is first class. Beautifully kept grounds, friendly staff and excellent tasting variety of wines. A lot of hard work goes into making this place special and it’s a credit to all involved. Have been here many times over the years and will always return as it never disappoints . Very easy to recommend you visit whilst in the region.
