Happs winery is an innovative, family-owned Western Australian business who believes wine should be accessible and enjoyed by everyone. It's passionate about crafting engaging wines that bring people together to enjoy the moment
Happs’ wines are crafted by adventurous innovators who constantly challenge the status quo to bring you the best tasting, engaging, quality wines.

Happs believes that wine should be accessible and enjoyed by everyone. It wants to show that wine can be fun, easy to choose and understand. Their portfolio boasts more than 40 different wines, which have wide appeal. Happs Wines was the first winery in the region to introduce an outdoor, self-serve wine-tasting experience where you get to try wine from its vast selection in a stunning, relaxing, family-friendly setting.

Funny enough the word 'Happ' means “the cutter of vines” and so the Happs’ family were always destined to produce fine wines to be enjoyed by everyone, whatever the moment.

A visit to Happs Cellar Door offers a range of things to see, do and enjoy. They have an extensive pottery, gallery and gift shop - feel free to browse at your leisure the wonderful handcrafted products. Book yourself in for a pottery workshop when their artists in residence are in town.

You can also enjoy your favourite bottle of Happs with a delicious gourmet picnic hamper. Build-your-own hamper with delicious decadent foods from local suppliers and enjoy with a glass of your favourite Happs in stunning, relaxing surrounds. Happs is proud to host many popular events throughout the year, from cooking classes to Sunday Sessions, classical concerts and ballet performances.

Beautiful winery to visit with beautiful staff. I love the idea of serving yourself wine tastings meaning you can control what you want to try and how much you would like to try. Very easy and feels less pressured as you take your own time to do it. Free tastings too which was a welcome surprise! They have a beautiful outdoor area for picnics and amazing pottery art pieces to buy. definitely worth a visit!

We visited Karen at Happs Winery about two weeks ago now to be only welcomed so well. Very friendly and to our surprise a free 30 min, unlimited wine tasting. The wine is quite nice and they could charge for wine tasting very easily but they choose not too. Worth a visit, try the wines, and buy a case to bring home! You won't be disappointed.

We always enjoy our trip to Happs. The complimentary self-serve tasting is a great way to choose your own adventure and not be prescribed what the seller wants you to try. The difficult part is what to sample from their 50+ varieties. It is always nice after a tasting to purchase a glass of your favourite wine and enjoy it in the beautiful gardens. However, this visit was marred by a few large groups, all arriving at the same time and being accommodated. The volume of people is too much for a small space.

What a stunning place. The pottery is beautiful and you can watch the artist make it right in front of you. If you make your way to the other side of the building there is a winery. As you head outside it opens up to a gorgeous grassed area and bushland. When doing the tasting it is a self guided tasting and it is the best idea ever. We enjoyed it so much and the wine was divine. I purchased 6 bottles lol. They have a swing and sports equipment for the kids to play with and our boys had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this winery
