We had another wonderful stay at Margaret River Hideaway & Farmstay with our two kids. The staff were as friendly and welcoming as ever, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The soacious rooms have been renovated since our last visit in 2020 — they’re now more modern, which we really appreciated. The only small downside is that the new bright white lighting takes away a little of the cosy cottage charm we remembered. Our kids absolutely loved the farm activities and meeting the animals, which continue to be the highlight of every stay. The property’s location is also excellent — close to town and the highway, making it easy to explore everything Margaret River has to offer. Overall, still a fantastic family getaway and one we’d happily return to.

Loved our stay here over a few days in August. A idyllic farmstay, surrounded by vast greenery hosting alpacas, emus, chicken, ducks. Kim is a joyful and wonderful host and helped with many little details that made our stay extremely comfortable. The location is perfect just a short drive from the town center which has many shops and dining options. Highly recommended for families with kids looking for a leisurely break

Nice and tranquil place. Place is clean and host is friendly. Cannot see much of stars at night because of tall surrounding trees. Must stay and enjoy instead of driving to nearby attractions. Do that in between checkouts and check-ins.

Our family stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The weather was cool and rainy during our visit, but the bed was warm and comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax. The accommodation was spacious, with a cozy living area and a small kitchen where we could prepare simple meals. The view from our room looked out onto lush greenery, and on some days, we saw animals like alpacas and chickens wandering around outside — which our child absolutely loved! One of the highlights of our stay was the morning animal feeding activity. We got to feed alpacas, ducks, chickens, emus, and sheep. There were even five newborn lambs during our visit — they were so adorable! The location was also convenient — it was easy to drive into nearby towns for food, or to attractions like Busselton Jetty. Just one thing to note: mobile reception was quite limited, and the Wi-Fi connection wasn’t very reliable.
