Busselton Jetty
Experience one of WA’s best know dive sites! The 1.8km long Busselton Jetty is the longest timber-piled jetty in the Southern hemisphere and Australia’s largest artificial reef. It is home to over 300 marine species and a new underwater art sculpture trail. Here you are likely to see a kaleidoscope of vibrant coloured fish, corals and sponges that have inhabited the Jetty for over a century, and are now calling these sculptures home. With a maximum depth of 9m this dive site is suitable for snorkelling, freediving and scuba divers of all levels. We also dive here for our refresher dives, for those who haven’t dived in more than 12 months, and Try Dives, for those who are not certified divers but want to experience SCUBA diving in this magical location!
Ex-HMAS Swan Wreck
The HMAS Swan (DE 50) Wreck is one of the largest and most accessible dive wrecks in the Southern Hemisphere! After serving the Royal Australian Navy for two decades, the 113 metre decommissioned naval destroyer was scuttled off the coast of Dunsborough in 1997. It now rests on the ocean floor, transformed into one of Australia’s most popular dive wreck sites an teeming with life. Sitting in 32 metres of water at the deepest point, the HMAS Swan reaches up 24m from the sea floor, with the crows nest sitting in 8m of turquoise water. This means there is ample exploring to be done at all levels, suitable for open water divers through to technical divers. Being sunk purposely as a dive wreck, it is truly a spectacular dive, with many large hull cut-outs allowing you to explore inside and out! Beyond the wreck itself, there is a diverse range of marine life to be seen. From large grouper and batfish outside to schools of bullseye fish and Western Blue Devils inside the ships rooms.
4 Mile ReefÂ
The beautiful 4 Mile Reef is full of life! With a depth of 15-20m this dive site is filled with everything from large corals and schools of playful marine life to tiny nudibranchs waiting to be discovered. Due to the location of the 4 Mile Reef the dive site is best first thing in the morning, but trust us, the early start is worth it! After arriving at our shop and being greeted by your friendly dive guide, you will be provided any dive equipment required and can get dressed into your wetsuit. The rest of your dive gear will be loaded into the boat ready for you to step onboard and enjoy a short cruise through Geographe Bay past the iconic Busselton Jetty. Once you arrive your dive guide will provide a briefing of the dive site and what you can expect to see. They will be with you every step of the way, so no need to worry about navigation – All you have to do is relax and enjoy the incredible surroundings as your guide helps you find some of the hidden gems of the reef.
