Nest-box Building Workshop with Dr Simon Cherriman

Build a nest-box out of recycled materials with renowned ecologist, Dr Simon Cherriman.

The team at Capes Raptor Centre have partnered up with Dr Simon Cherriman to construct further nesting habitat around their wildlife sanctuary, located just 5 minutes from Margaret River mains street. These nest-boxes made will be made from recycled materials and installed on the bird of prey sanctuary walk.

Capes Raptor Centre is inviting you to join them for this special, one-off workshop to learn from Simon and discover the skills needed to build your own nest-boxes at home.

The workshop includes:

• Bird of Prey Encounter
• Presentation by Simon on the significance of wildlife habitat and recycling initiatives
• Nest-box construction and paiting
• Group sanctuary walk to identify the best places for installation
• Chance to win one of two nest boxes as door prizes
• Breaks for morning tea and lunch will be fully catered (including any dietaries)
