Santa is coming to town! Join the celebration at the Margaret River Christmas Street Party on Wadandi Boodja.

Margaret River’s Main Street will come alive on Thursday 17 December, 3.00pm until 10.00pm for a vibrant community celebration in the spirit of Christmas, organised by Radio Margaret River (RMR101.9) with the Shire of Augusta Margaret River backing the event as the major sponsor.

Promising fun for all ages, the Margaret River Christmas Street Party will feature a helicopter arrival from Santa, before he joins a street parade complete with fire trucks and community groups bringing the street to life with floats, performances and more.

More than 70 Main Street businesses will be open for late-night trading until 7pm, giving everyone the chance to finish their Christmas shopping locally; while cafes, restaurants and bars will join in the festivities by expanding out onto the street.

RMR101.9 will be broadcasting live from the event, and live music will be on offer in multiple areas with a DJ playing some banging beats in the festival precinct from 9pm to round out the night.
