Cape Naturaliste Track

Forests, Reserves and Scenic Spots

This medium 3.2 kilometre walk starts at the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse and travels through small limestone "pinnacles" en route to a stunning whale lookout.

For the bird enthusiasts, the walk from Cape Naturaliste Light House down to Bunker bay has the honey eaters, Scrub Wrens and in particular the elusive Southern Emu Wren. This is a prize bird to observe and Shoot for its magnificent tail feathers when splayed. You can find them pretty well all along the cape coast. The paved walk from the light house to Sugar loaf rock is also a great walk for birds in spring!

For the wildflower enthusiasts, you must stop here! An abundance of stunning wildflowers can be spotted along this track in spring.
