The wine adventure tour for people who don't do tours!

It’s the Margaret River wine and nature lovers’ experience with the works.

Travelling in a luxury 4WD hosted by local expert guide of the year - Sean Blocksidge.

The Margaret River Discovery Tour has been rated as the #1 Margaret River Tour on Tripadvisor for the past 12 years.

• Start the day with a canoe trip down a stunning section of the tranquil Margaret River. You won’t get wet, dirty or fall in. It’s a peaceful beginning to your day of highlights.
• Then head to the beach to see how the winemakers relax – a coffee while you check the surf at one of the region’s top beach breaks.

 • The next stop is an ancient waterhole to spot freshwater Marron and wildlife and to taste local honey while you reflect on Aboriginal history dating back more than 50,000 years.

 • Lunch at one the region’s most celebrated emerging superstar wineries – Fraser Gallop Estate – is our next highlight. You'll have exclusive access to the working winery and vineyard and savour some of the best wines in the region matched with local produce while seated among barrels of ageing wine.

 • Finish the day with a 4WD adventure and walk on a spectacular section of the Cape to Cape Track – the Wilyabrup Cliffs. You  have special government approval to use a 4WD track that offers stunning cliff top views. High above the Indian Ocean the epic scenery, fresh sea breezes and surrounding ancient soils provide a deeper understanding of the unique Margaret River region.

Hosted by Western Australian Guide of the Year - Sean Blocksidge.

Sean is a local born and bred West Aussie who's been consistently rated Tripadvisor's #1 best small tour experience in Margaret River.

He'll take you down the back tracks and trails that most visitors to the region will miss.  As Sean says "how can you visit Margaret River region and miss the actual Margaret River? That's nuts. Or fail to experience the grandeur of the Cape Track."

Plus taste the best wine in the region!

He shares local secrets and stories to more deeply connect you to Margaret River. You'll travel in his luxury Landrover Discovery 4WD. This is personalised touring at it's best. No minivans or buses.

It really is "the wine and adventure tour for people who don't do tours".

To sum it up, we couldn't have had a better day. To start us off, the other guests on our tour cancelled (the weather forecast was pretty grim although it didn't turn out that way) so it was just us and Sean. He'd probably describe himself as a tour guide but the term undervalues his knowledge and enthusiasm for the region and everything in it. He said to ask as many questions as we could so we went all in, he knew the answer to every single one. If you want to know what you'll do and see on this tour, take a read of the other reviews and look at his incredible photos on social media. But, if you can restrain yourself, DON'T LOOK. Just look at the rating (currently a perfect 5.0) and book. You'll have an incredible time and it will be all the better if you let yourself be surprised by it. Thank you Sean for the incredible day (and the recommendations for the next day, we did as many as we could). If we're ever back in Margaret River we'd do it all again in a heartbeat. And if you ever feel like retiring, we'll happily take over the business... michael penfold
This was a great way to explore some of what the Margaret River has to offer: canoeing, honey tasting, tour and lunch in a great winery, and sampling the cape to cape cliff walk. We even spotted a few dolphins and a mob of lounging kangaroos; though we didn't see the marron. I think what makes this tour unique (besides the canoe trip, which was AWESOME!) is Sean. From start to finish it was clear that he is very passionate about the region and he just wants you to enjoy it as much as he does. Thanks for a super day! Kathryn O'Sullivan
Fantastic tour! From canoeing to wine tasting, this was an excellent way to experience the highlights of Margaret River. Sean was an outstanding guide. I loved that this tour is limited to a small group; it made for a very personalized, memorable, and fun day. Highly recommend! Jocelyn Wiltshire
Was amazing. Thanks Sean. The whole day was beautiful, from the canoeing around Margaret river, to visiting ancient aboriginal meeting places, tasting honey, visiting that Fraser gallop winery and gorging ourselves on food and wine, then the 4wd trip to some amazing coastal scenery. Doing this trip also educated and opened up to us what else we can discover in the Margaret river region. Can’t go wrong by doing this trip early in your Margaret river holiday. Sean makes the whole day feel exclusive (it was to us, others cancelled). Thanks Sean Adrian Bartlett
It's more like a day out with friends rather than a tour. The informal but informative approach makes it feel extra special. What other tour would pre-order (and pay) for a coffee that you pick up from a beach side cafe? Great mix of wonderful Margaret River highlights, more than ably, led by Sean. Nothing to worry or think about as he has it all under control. 100% recommended Tracy Riddell
