The wine adventure tour for people who don't do tours!

It’s the Margaret River wine and nature lovers’ experience with the works.

Travelling in a luxury 4WD hosted by local expert guide of the year - Sean Blocksidge.

The Margaret River Discovery Tour has been rated as the #1 Margaret River Tour on Tripadvisor for the past 12 years.

• Start the day with a canoe trip down a stunning section of the tranquil Margaret River. You won’t get wet, dirty or fall in. It’s a peaceful beginning to your day of highlights.
• Then head to the beach to see how the winemakers relax – a coffee while you check the surf at one of the region’s top beach breaks.

 • The next stop is an ancient waterhole to spot freshwater Marron and wildlife and to taste local honey while you reflect on Aboriginal history dating back more than 50,000 years.

 • Lunch at one the region’s most celebrated emerging superstar wineries – Fraser Gallop Estate – is our next highlight. You'll have exclusive access to the working winery and vineyard and savour some of the best wines in the region matched with local produce while seated among barrels of ageing wine.

 • Finish the day with a 4WD adventure and walk on a spectacular section of the Cape to Cape Track – the Wilyabrup Cliffs. You  have special government approval to use a 4WD track that offers stunning cliff top views. High above the Indian Ocean the epic scenery, fresh sea breezes and surrounding ancient soils provide a deeper understanding of the unique Margaret River region.

Hosted by Western Australian Guide of the Year - Sean Blocksidge.

Sean is a local born and bred West Aussie who's been consistently rated Tripadvisor's #1 best small tour experience in Margaret River.

He'll take you down the back tracks and trails that most visitors to the region will miss.  As Sean says "how can you visit Margaret River region and miss the actual Margaret River? That's nuts. Or fail to experience the grandeur of the Cape Track."

Plus taste the best wine in the region!

He shares local secrets and stories to more deeply connect you to Margaret River. You'll travel in his luxury Landrover Discovery 4WD. This is personalised touring at it's best. No minivans or buses.

It really is "the wine and adventure tour for people who don't do tours".

My wife and I joined Sean for his Margaret River Discovery tour yesterday and had a fantastic day. We're not normally day tour people but chose this tour on the basis if the mix of activities and the high ratings. We were not disappointed! Sean is a knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining host who clearly knows and lives the region. We never felt rushed but by the end of the day felt that we'd done and seen a lot. The balance of the day is just right. Would highly recommend this tour. Eliot Kennedy
Three friends & I had the pleasure of taking a Margaret River Discovery Tour on our recent trip to the South West. As we only had a couple of days, we were keen to book something that would provide a flavour for the entire region - encompassing both award-winning wineries & the stunning scenery of the area. Suffice to say, Sean’s tour was perfect for this. We started our day by canoeing down the Margaret River itself - a thoroughly relaxing experience. Following this, we enjoyed coffee by the coast before setting our sights on the magnificent Fraser Gallup Estate, where we were treated to a run-through of the manufacturing process before some fine wining & dining under the sun. Our day concluded back at the coast with a captivating cliff walk. Sean himself was a passionate & informative guide who made sure that our day was the best it could be. All-in-all, it was a fantastic day and I would highly recommend the Margaret River Discovery Tour to anyone fortunate enough to spend time in this wonderful part of the world. Conor O'Gara
Completed the "discovery tour" with Sean. He is a brilliant and capable host, extremely knowledgeable on all things South West including wine, flora and fauna and things to see. The canoeing in Margaret River is certainly a highlight. All in all an excellent day. Would recommend. Mavrick Sim
Sean is a gentleman of the highest order. An excellent tour with a wide variety throughout the day. Highlight would be canoeing along a pristine Margaret River in the morning. After this we had an excellent lunch with 7 different wines to drink and learn about. There were a couple of non-drinkers in our group and he accommodated them brilliantly with grape juice from the vineyard itself. We also got to see various wildlife spots and taste different kinds of honey. Sean took some great pictures during the day and sent them onto us that evening. He has also met Jeremy Clarkson- who did this tour- and can tell you about him, if that adds any weight to this review. Joshua Alexander
The foolish man ends up paying twice. And I have been foolish booking a couple of “premium wine tours” in the past where they stuff you in a van and then take you to three or four sub-standard wineries, leaving you about $100 out of pocket. Sean’s tour, however, is a whole different experience. The canoeing on the serene Margaret river, the coffee at the scenic cafe, the honey tasting and Sean’s masterful telling of the Aboriginal and Indigenous significances of the places we visited. The delicious and well catered lunch and exquisite wines at an actual “premium” winery and finally the breathtaking views along a section of the cape to cape track. This was a tour I will remember and recommend to anyone who wants value for their money. It might be double of what the bus tours charge but the experience is way more memorable. Do it. Pay once, cry once. You won’t regret it. Mankirat Singh
