The wine adventure tour for people who don't do tours!

It’s the Margaret River wine and nature lovers’ experience with the works.

Travelling in a luxury 4WD hosted by local expert guide of the year - Sean Blocksidge.

The Margaret River Discovery Tour has been rated as the #1 Margaret River Tour on Tripadvisor for the past 12 years.

• Start the day with a canoe trip down a stunning section of the tranquil Margaret River. You won’t get wet, dirty or fall in. It’s a peaceful beginning to your day of highlights.
• Then head to the beach to see how the winemakers relax – a coffee while you check the surf at one of the region’s top beach breaks.

 • The next stop is an ancient waterhole to spot freshwater Marron and wildlife and to taste local honey while you reflect on Aboriginal history dating back more than 50,000 years.

 • Lunch at one the region’s most celebrated emerging superstar wineries – Fraser Gallop Estate – is our next highlight. You'll have exclusive access to the working winery and vineyard and savour some of the best wines in the region matched with local produce while seated among barrels of ageing wine.

 • Finish the day with a 4WD adventure and walk on a spectacular section of the Cape to Cape Track – the Wilyabrup Cliffs. You  have special government approval to use a 4WD track that offers stunning cliff top views. High above the Indian Ocean the epic scenery, fresh sea breezes and surrounding ancient soils provide a deeper understanding of the unique Margaret River region.

Hosted by Western Australian Guide of the Year - Sean Blocksidge.

Sean is a local born and bred West Aussie who's been consistently rated Tripadvisor's #1 best small tour experience in Margaret River.

He'll take you down the back tracks and trails that most visitors to the region will miss.  As Sean says "how can you visit Margaret River region and miss the actual Margaret River? That's nuts. Or fail to experience the grandeur of the Cape Track."

Plus taste the best wine in the region!

He shares local secrets and stories to more deeply connect you to Margaret River. You'll travel in his luxury Landrover Discovery 4WD. This is personalised touring at it's best. No minivans or buses.

It really is "the wine and adventure tour for people who don't do tours".

We had the most amazing day with Sean at Margaret River Discovery Tours. This is truly the way the experience the best of Margaret River and connect to the local landscape. Canoeing on the Margaret River was spectacular and very comfortable. Getting to explore the working side of a winery was amazing and goes beyond the usual cellar door experience. Some more bushwalking and a lovely lunch rounded out a top day. Thank you Sean Nina Mastrantonio
Beautiful crafted tour, Sean is a local who really knows his stuff. From a canoe paddle down the hidden parts of the margeret river, to forgotten waterfalls used by the indigenous locals for centuries this tour took us to parts of the Margaret river that many locals wouldn't even know off. Considering the tour went all day, including meals, not to mention the luxury of Sean's Land rover discovery and the private behind the scenes tours and tasting at one of the regions best wineries the tour had a VIP feel at a budget pricetag. oorvask cooper (Olly)
We've lived in Margaret River for over 15 years but decided to do Sean's tour because sometimes it's fun to play tourist in your own home town. There was absolutely no chance we would have chosen any other tour and we were not disappointed! Sean made us feel like VIP's and took the most amazing photos of us which we would otherwise never get. The pace was so relaxed and casual and we had a great time meeting the other people in the tour. We thought we knew the region but Sean pointed out some secret spots and 4WD tracks we didn't know about. It was great to get away from our everyday lives and think about this stunning region from a different perspective. Can't recommend it enough and locals, take a day off and treat yourselves to a hometown reset! Britta Wilson
My husband and I had the pleasure of doing a full day tour with Sean and exploring the many delights of Margaret River. We commenced the day with a breathtaking, canoe trip down the pristine Margaret River (this really was a highlight of our day). It was very relaxing and serene and would be something that any age or ability can do. We enjoyed learning about local indigenous history and tasting a variety of honey made by local bees which was delightful. We enjoyed a lovely lunch and tasted award winning wines at Fraser Gallop Estate. In the afternoon Sean took us to to his 'secret spot' with a light stroll over the headlands for breathtaking and spectacular photograph opportunities over the ocean, cliffs and beaches which was quite accessible for walkers. Sean is a very knowledgeable, thoughtful and wonderful host who has so many considerate factors to ensure we all enjoyed a truely memorable day! I would highly recommend this tour. Jessie Geraghty
My wife and I joined Sean for his Margaret River Discovery tour yesterday and had a fantastic day. We're not normally day tour people but chose this tour on the basis if the mix of activities and the high ratings. We were not disappointed! Sean is a knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining host who clearly knows and lives the region. We never felt rushed but by the end of the day felt that we'd done and seen a lot. The balance of the day is just right. Would highly recommend this tour. Eliot Kennedy
