There's no better way to truly experience the South West than to jump in a surf lesson with the Margaret River Surf School! Operating for over 30 years, they cater to anyone willing to give it a crack. All ages from beginners to advanced, there is a lesson to suit you! Get the passion, and feel the thrill with lessons starting at $60, all equipment supplied. Hire equipment is also available.

Group lessons are for any person over the age of 10 years old. If a child is under the age of 10 years they are required to be booked into one of the private lesson options.

Margaret River Surf School runs 2-hour group and private surf lessons for all ages and abilities from beginners to advanced. 3-day courses are also available. Discounts available for schools, corporate and large group bookings. All equipment provided. Fully qualified coaches

Hello! We’re a couple from South Korea. You were by far the most thorough and detailed instructor I’ve ever had. You also gave me the opportunity to experience some really big waves, while making sure I was safe and well looked after the entire time. Thank you so much for everything! We booked two private 2-hour lessons with Margaret River Surf School for our daughter, who had never surfed before, and it was a fantastic experience. The first lesson at Redgate Beach was a great introduction and gave her the confidence to get started. The second lesson at Huzzas was brilliant and really helped build on what she'd learned. Jarrad was awesome. He was patient, encouraging and made the whole experience fun. You could tell he genuinely enjoys teaching and was just as excited as our daughter when she started catching waves. By the end of the two lessons her confidence had grown massively, and she's now hooked on surfing. Thanks Jarrad and the team at Margaret River Surf School. We'd highly recommend them to anyone wanting to learn to surf.

Took my four niblings (teens) and myself (late 40's) for a surfing lesson. We're all beginners and Arthur looked after us really well. Everyone was standing up by the end of the lesson and we all had a ball. Eveything we needed was provided. I highly recommend having snacks ready as soon as you finish! Youngest says "It was really fun!"
