My stay at Basildene Manor was absolutely delightful. The beautiful gardens surrounding the property set the perfect tone for a relaxing getaway. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, making me feel truly pampered throughout my stay. The room aesthetics were stunning, combining elegance and comfort seamlessly. And, not to forget, the breakfast menu was scrumptious – each meal was a delight to the taste buds. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and I highly recommend Basildene Manor for a memorable retreat.

We were pleasantly surprised, and grateful, to have received a complimentary upgrade. The room was excellent in terms of space and facilities The room we had booked would, in hindsight, have been a bit tight and small for us. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We didn't make use of the bbq facilities but they were clean and well maintained. Unfortunately the pool was not available to us as we were told Council approval was yet to be received. It was an absolute bonus to have access to a laundry and dryer to do our washing given we were on a two week trip. The breakfasts were fabulous and we very much enjoyed the complimentary cakes in the Conservatory every afternoon. The Conservatory and adjoining lounges are a wonderful space. We were surprised the Manor doesn't have any evening dine-in services, which meant we had to go out for dinner every evening.

It was glorious. The front office staff are smart, friendly and remember names really well as do the other staff. Breakfast is fabulous. We had breakfast every day at Basildene. We stayed in the Chablis room on the ground floor so felt quite spoilt. Having an afternoon tea cake and being able to go to the staff and ask for cheese platter boards and cutlery and plates so you can have a picnic on the ground is a winner.

We were pleasantly surprised with the beautifully manicured gardens, preserved history and luxury accommodation. An impressive breakfast was served whilst enjoying lovely garden views. A daily spoil is a daily cake & tea event!
We highly recommend this venue.
