Our stay here was lovely. Has everything you need just a little run down. The beds were very uncomfortable and could feel the springs in our backs in both bedrooms we had to fold the bedding a few times to lay down on so we couldn’t feel the springs. but apart from that everything else was swell. Would also recommend better cooling in the rooms during those 40 degree days as the split system didn’t quite reach the bedrooms.

The location of Bay Village Resort could not be better. We were delighted to find we were a very short walking distance from cafes, shops, bars, and the beach. We had an apartment which was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The check in and check out was quick and easy. The bed was very comfortable and we had a lovely relaxing stay here. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere central in the Dunsborough area :)

Cant beat the location, right in the middle of town and a short walk to the beach, albeit not a great beach for swimming, but nice for a morning walk under the trees and along the beach path. I was sharing a two bedroom chalet with a friend and two teenage boys. Space was fine but having the shower/toilet/laundry all in one room did make it a bit awkward if you are not with your own family as there was no privacy. We were only given one towel each, and one hand towel for 4 people and 1 bathmat, and one toilet roll - not really suitable, especially when you ask for me the staff made it seem like an inconvenience. For a weeks stay we had no room service, no change of sheets or new towels. At the very least it would have been nice to have some fresh towels dropped off. We were Chalet #15, don't book this one if you have young kids or like a sleep in! It's pretty noisy, backs onto Dunn Bay road so noise of cars in peak season starting 5am!. Also this is right next door to the Pourhouse pub which has an outdoor beer garden and balcony, so noise from there at night, and then 7am music blaring when it opens for coffee. The pool was out of action, whilst we were told about this prior to staying, to be honest the pool area was pretty grim so unlikely we would have used it anyway. Only one air conditioner in the unit in the main living area means the rooms can be pretty warm in the height of summer and due to road and pub noise opening windows not an option. No Netflix or Smart TV in the unit, though I believe other units might have this option Kitchen was reasonably well equipped albeit small BBQ in the courtyard at the back but not really a decent seating area if you were a family wanting to eat outside For the price paid I would expect more amenities and more room servicing

Great location. Rooms tired and need updating. Stayed in room next to the pub. Very noisy with the coolroom generators running 24/7. Beds are atrocious, so soft & uncomfortable. Time to get some new ones.
