Big Valley Campsite

Such a great place to stay for a few days . Sites are well spaced and there’s plenty of shade . The setting is gorgeous .. native flowering plants everywhere and chooks roaming around . It’s super dog friendly too and the greyhound loved his first ever camping trip so much! The birdlife was abundant … Added bonus facilities are spotless and really good hot water plus an excellent camp kitchen . Coffee van on the weekend was such a welcome addition. Seamless checkin and friendly welcome . We will definitely be back !

Loved the campsite & the host. We arrived late, yet the check-in was very smooth with my name board attached to the office door which contained the map to my parking location. Later, the host also arrived there & guided us to our exact camping slot. We are vegetarians & we enjoyed the food options there - Corn chips with Guacamole & Cheesy Tacos. Enjoyed the morning coffee before checking out. Overall it was a pleasant stay, and I would highly recommend it

I would give Big Valley Campsite 6/5 stars if I could! Everything about this place was absolutely incredible, from the animal interactions and feeding experiences to the cleanliness of the facilities and the genuine warmth and friendliness of the staff. What really stood out to us was how much thought and care goes into making this place so special. The sustainable practices, like recycling food waste to feed the animals, show just how much love and effort goes into creating an environment that benefits both the animals and the guests. Every little detail was amazing, and you can genuinely feel the passion behind what they do. It’s so much more than just a campsite — it’s a beautiful experience from start to finish. We couldn’t recommend Big Valley Campsite highly enough and would absolutely come back. A huge thank you to the team for creating such a special place!
