Absolutely loved our stay at Big Valley Campsite. The sites were clean, comfortable and spacious — everything you want when camping with kids. So family-friendly. Guinea pig cuddles, sheep feeding, live music and even a DJ on NYE 👌 Plenty of space for the kids to run around and ride their bikes (not scooter-friendly, but Margaret River has a great skate park!). The staff were genuinely lovely, and it’s the perfect nature escape with the bonus of friendly farm animals. Great location too — just a short drive into Margs. We’ll definitely be back.

If you’re travelling through Margaret River in a van, do yourself a favour and spend a few nights at Big Valley Campsite! The location is perfect, central enough to explore Margaret River and all its neighbouring attractions. The facilities are fantastic too: clean bathrooms and showers, a well-equipped laundry, and huge camp-kitchen areas. If you’re bringing your dogs, you’ll love the spacious dog-run where they can roam freely. The daily sheep feeding is such a wholesome touch, and the guinea pigs are adorable, it’s an incredibly family-friendly spot. The team here truly goes above and beyond. I met Kev, Pete, and Rae, and they were all so warm, helpful, and genuinely accommodating. And make sure you try their lamb produce while you’re there, absolutely delicious! We had the frenched lamb chops and the leg roast, both incredible (honestly better than your fancy butcher) Big Valley really has everything covered. We’ll definitely be back! Monica & Hettie

Based off of other reviews, we chose Big Valley Campsite as the destination for our first trip in our new caravan.....with 3 mini Dachshunds to add some spice. We were not disappointed! We initially booked for 4 nights and ended up extending our stay for another 2 nights. Our site, 25B, was a large site, close to the awesome enclosed dog run. It was the highlight of the day for our 3 Dashies to have the freedom to run......and not escape....most important for us. All the facilities were exceptionally clean and every one of the people that work on the farm were so welcoming. Nothing was too much effort. The tranquil setting and the calming walks around the paddocks was certainly very relaxing for all of us. The family who own Big Valley have developed an environment that is very pet friendly and welcoming. We could not have wished for a better first experience as first time caravaners. All thanks to Big Valley Campsite....an absolute gem! The perfect spot to relax or base yourself when exploring the Margaret River region. We will definitely be going back, for longer, next time.

This is such a beautiful hidden treasure. The owners are such beautiful people who take so much pride in their wonderful farm. Everything about this place is amazing, the sites a big, the 2 camp kitchens are massive with everything you need and the showers are the best. Everything is clean and tidy with so much room for the kids to run around and play, plus the farm animals and the trail walk just beautiful. Well worth the stay, we look forward to staying again. We loved it.
