Olive Hill Farm
Olive Hill Farm
Guests wake to birdsong, gather around starlit campfires (seasonal), and can follow a 500 m path through a newly planted regeneration area down to the banks of the Margaret River.
Just 10 km east of Margaret River town and central to the South West, the farm welcomes couples, families, groups and dogs.
Before booking
Olive Hill Farm is a licensed nature-based campground, and two Shire conditions apply to every stay:
- Self-contained guests only. Guests must bring their own chemical or composting toilet, plus a privacy cubicle if the toilet isn't enclosed in their vehicle.
- Dogs on leads. Dogs must be on a lead at all times on the property, and owners are expected to pick up after them.
Facilities
- Dump point
- General waste and co-mingled recycling bins
- Containers for Change collection, with 100% of proceeds donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities WA
- Non-potable water
- Potable water for topping up tanks on longer stays. The farm relies on rainwater stored for the summer months, so supply is limited.
- Silent-run petrol generators permitted between 8 am and 5:30 pm for topping up batteries
Guests are asked to arrive with toilet cassettes empty and water tanks full.
Good to know
Shared sites and group bookings are available through the Olive Hill Farm website. Friendly caretakers are on hand throughout each stay and can be contacted by phone or text. Guests are asked to be considerate of fellow campers so that everyone enjoys their time at the farm.
