La Forêt Enchantée
Originally home to a humble fisherman’s holiday shack, La Foret now offers two uniquely designed cottages, along with a stunning setting for intimate and exclusive outdoor events.
Located just a short 10-minute drive from both the coastline and Margaret River township, the two luxury cabins -The Lodge and The Hide - have been thoughtfully designed with couples in mind. Private and immersed in nature, with bush views from every window, the cabins blend spacious luxury with romantic, rustic simplicity.
The Hide
With its gothic-inspired design, The Hide is set across two storeys overlooking a tranquil valley and seasonal winter creek. Featuring arched windows, vaulted cathedral ceilings and statement chandeliers, it brings a sense of fairytale charm to the forest setting.
Inside, the cottage is entirely open plan, with living, kitchen and dining areas on the ground floor, and a galleried bedroom and bathroom upstairs overlooking the space below. A striking six-metre glass wall draws in the surrounding landscape, filling the interior with natural light and offering uninterrupted views of the forest and local wildlife. While ideal for couples, The Hide can also accommodate small groups of up to four guests who are comfortable sharing the open-plan layout.
Thoughtfully equipped for comfort, the cottage includes a full kitchen, fireplace, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, BBQ, and luxury touches such as bathrobes and slippers, though notably, there is no television, encouraging guests to fully disconnect and immerse themselves in nature.
The Lodge
Generous in scale yet warm and inviting, The Lodge blends rustic charm with refined comfort. Accessed via antique wrought iron gates and a winding driveway through bushland and European-inspired gardens, this standalone single-storey timber home is privately positioned and framed by wraparound verandahs, perfect for taking in the surrounding forest views.
Inside, the home opens into a spacious living area defined by vaulted ceilings, statement chandeliers, antique accents, and a central fireplace, creating a cosy yet elegant atmosphere. A full kitchen finished in rich marri timber and marble flooring connects seamlessly to an outdoor entertaining area with BBQ facilities, while a separate dining room showcases rustic textures and unique decorative features, offering an inviting space for shared meals.
The accommodation flows through to a luxurious bathroom with marble finishes, as well as access to a striking outdoor stone bath set among the trees—perfect for unwinding in nature. The private bedroom is a true highlight, featuring an impressive octagonal design, a king-sized bed, and its own elevated verandah. With multiple doors opening to the outdoors and a turreted ceiling rising above, the space evokes a sense of charm and understated grandeur.
Designed as a private sanctuary, The Lodge is ideal for couples seeking a romantic and restorative escape
