My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Margaret River B&B. The location is a bit out of the hustle bustle of town, the setting is relaxing and serene with garden of beautiful flowers and colorful birds. Breakfast is good consisting of a variety of continental breakfast offerings, home baked bread and honey. A complimentary welcome glass of Margaret River wine is a nice touch. Dirk is a knowledgeable host and guide of the area for his guests, offering maps and descriptive suggestions of things (beaches, lookouts, wineries, chocolate shops, restaurants) to do based on our interests, all of which were spot on. Thank you!

We stayed seven nights in this wonderful bed and breakfast. Dirk is a fine host who makes you feel very welcome, provides great tips to help you enjoy the area and is available but not intrusive. The breakfasts were excellent, offering good variety. Would highly recommend.

Clean, peaceful and comfortable accomodation in a wonderful location. Gardens around the house was beautiful and the surrounding bushland added to the beauty of the place. Warm welcome from hosts and delicious healthy breakfast. Thank you Dirk and Pam for helpful hints and a memorable stay.

If you're looking for peace and quiet, and the opportunity to see a side of Margaret River that is so much more than just beach and wineries, stay here. Each morning Dirk checks up on you at breakfast to see if he can help make your day even more special by pointing out places and venues of interest that aren't necessarily well known. We saw a different, more interesting side of Margaret River. That's if you can pull yourself away from their breakfast! Hubby enjoyed trying everything from different breads and local jams, to fruits and cereals. I was hooked on the stewed prunes and if you're a traveller, you'll appreciate the prunes, seriously! The dining room over looks their garden and the natural bush with the local birds feeding. We just enjoyed the serenity of our surroundings. The beach is close one way, the town centre the other way, we were pretty central to what we wanted to see and do. Our room was spacious, super comfortable beds, spa bath, shower and heated towel rails. Outside your room, there's a lovely little outdoor sitting area too if you want privacy to just chill. Spoilt! After spending the day out wandering, it was lovely to come 'home' and just relax. Bought some of their own honey before we left. I'm sorry but a review and photos just don't do it justice. It's somewhere you need to 'experience'. And don't shy away from asking Dirk for ideas, directions or history on the area, that was a highlight....each morning he'd help us plan our day (only if you want him to) but you'll be glad you did. Can't wait to come again. PS, sorry it too so long to write this review Dirk. Telling people about you guys recently, we realised I hadn't already done a review! Reliving it now, just makes me crave a visit again soon hopefully.
