Margaret River Resort & The River Hotel

It was absolutely perfect - location, ambience and amenities. Thoughtfully equipped with family games and adequate crockery to make it feel like home

I booked as it was my birthday and my mother came over from Ireland. We called in advance to see if something small and special could be done. Staff were not forthcoming. (Even a small battle of wine and were completely unhelpful) Room was basic. Bar staff were amazing, bottle shop staff also were also amazing. DVD’s were available from reception but the tv’s weren’t compatible with dvds. Would have been useful as the internet set is terrible in MR. Hospitality overall was not amazing. Would recommend as the location is excellent. Basic for what you are paying.

Location fantastic. Room 2 above restaurant was clean and spacious. Also had a small refrigerator. No bands were playing. Room 2 was above the restaurant and the swinging saloon from the dining room to the kitchen was very noisy until the restaurant closed. Recommend ear plugs then all on!
