Spacious room except the lights were far too dim. Shower curtains too short hence whole bathroom is wet after each shower. Hole opening on the bathroom window shld be sealed or covered for privacy issue, and also chilling wind on a winter day! Pantry in wardrobe but no light at all! Saving grace is the cafe serves up fantastic food!

Quite a Gem, tucked away at the peripherals of the city centre. Quiet enough and connected enough to afford best of both. Tasteful done and amply provisioned. Lovely private backyard with outdoor dining and tennis courts for kids to burn some energy. Bookmarked for a return soon!

Stayed here in Sept 2022 for 4 nights. Staff are very friendly, rooms are dated but priced accordingly and very clean. Due to staff shortages daily servicing was not provided and I was only advised of this on arrival. If there were staff shortages and a service couldn’t be provided I would have thought this would be reflected in the pricing given they are not outlaying the expense yet it’s included in the price.

Great spot with a fine bar out front. Extra wine fun can be obtained with Tony at vintage wine tours a very knowledgeable chap !
