Nest ~ Margaret River
NEST is a rebuild of the original "Shack" to retain all of it's character, with a beautiful new fit out within a functional design.
THE SPACE
A stylish rustic interior and furnishings have all been chosen to enhance the space and ensure that guests can enjoy a relaxing, slow paced break.
The house itself is fully self contained with newly renovated kitchen, seperate appliance area and stunning 17th century farmhouse table.
The Living Area boasts a lovely new 'Frame' Television, and plenty of fantastic books to stay entertained. A comfortable lounge and beautiful textiles are there to help keep guests cozy.
The Bedrooms are both fitted out with quality mattresses and beautiful linen.
The Master Bedroom has a Queen Size Bed.
The 2nd Bedroom has 2 Single Beds, though it can be set up as a King by request. There is also a portacot with organic sheets available by request.
SEASONS
In cooler months Nest is cosy and snug, with a view to the green pastures, and sound of rain on the tin roof. There is a warm fire to keep the space toasty, and beautiful soft furnishings to enjoy. The library is full of great reads for those who decide not to leave at all!
In warm months it is beautiful to open the french doors and enjoy the soft light in the mornings. A Queen Size daybed is perfectly situated to watch the sunrise or enjoy a cold glass of local wine after a day at the beach.
Air conditioning is fitted into the main living area along with big sweep fans for those occasional super hot days. There are also freestanding fans in the bedrooms.
SPECIAL TOUCHES
Nest is fitted out with special touches throughout, to help guests make the most of their stay.
~ A picnic basket and rug is available to use on the property lawns or to take to nearby spots like Ellensbrook or Surfers Point for a picnic.
~ Bespoke Ceramic Wares from the River Ceramics studio have been added for guests to enjoy while staying at Nest.
~ High Quality Organic Beds and Linens have been chosen to ensure guests get a great rest.
~ Quality Rustic Homewares, Art and Furniture has been selected to create a beautiful space to enjoy.
~ Beautiful local products including Bahen Co Hot Chocolate, Ripple Effect Tea, Margaret River Roasting Co Coffee and Wulura Olive Oils are available for guests to use during their stay.
~ Natural Bathroom and cleaning products are made available for guests and also used during changeovers to ensure a beautiful non toxic environment.
THE AREA
Nest is located in a perfectly central part of the stunning Cape Naturalist Region. With close access to the 4WD trails of Kilcarnup, and just a short drive to world class surf breaks, beautiful beaches, caves, the Margaret River townsite and other tourist attractions.
WILDLIFE
There is plenty of Wildlife which lives or comes through the property.
Guests will often see Kangaroos, lots of birds, and there are many possums to see if you walk outside in the evening.
There are also resident geese and chickens beside the vegetable garden which guests are welcome to visit.
