Adventure Sailing offers a range of experiences and courses, using a beautiful fleet of sailing vessels across the pristine waters of Busselton Jetty and Geographe Bay, and further afield to the Abrolhos Islands. They are a fully accredited sailing school offering sailing party day charters, Recreational Skipper’s Tickets, commercial maritime training, weekend live-aboard sailing courses, and live-aboard coastal sailing trips between Geographe Bay and the Abrolhos Islands.

Guests can learn to sail with one of Adventure Sailing’s accredited instructors, enjoy a luxury day or live-aboard charter, or undertake commercial maritime training. Their experienced team of instructors ensures a safe and enjoyable environment while participants discover the joys of sailing and boating.

Adventure Sailing is also a fully approved International Yacht Training (IYT) Centre, delivering recognised commercial maritime training courses.

An Adventure Sailing experience is designed to make sailing dreams come true, with options to suit all interests and experience levels, including:

Just got back from a 5 day Abrohlos Adventure and WOW what and incredible experience. Yes the islands are amazing, but without the expert guidance and super friendly Captain Paul I'm sure it wouldn't have been as good. He made the "learning to sail" part so much fun and simplified it so even I could understand. And wow what great stories he has to tell. Never a dull moment. Thanks again team for the experience of a lifetime.

Paul and Matt are the most incredible trainers you could ask for. I did the coxswains live aboard course out in the Abrolhos islands and I can't recommend it enough. If you're tossing up between this or TAFE please choose these guys! Their hands on, personal teaching is well worth it and so much fun, they make difficult to understand topics easily manageable and the whole experience smooth sailing. Their knowledge is incredibly valuable and they really care about making the experience good for you and your career after the course. Thanks so much guys :)

Thank you to Mark and Paul for an incredible weekend! I’d never been on a sailboat until this course. It was such a welcoming, fun and interactive environment. I’ve learnt so much and can’t wait to join a sailing club and gain some more experience with the confidence I now have. Looking forward to booking the 5 day live aboard trip early next year 🙌🏻 If you’re a complete beginner like me, the she sails course is perfect ⛵️

Honestly don’t quite know where to start. Just got back from the Coxswain liveaboard course and can I just say that this course is more than just a course. It is an experience, and personally it was one of the most entertaining and informative periods of time I have ever been a part of. The course itself with Matt and Paul as the captains/instructors, ticked all the right boxes. They were absolutely incredible in the fact that they were very patient with every student and spent the time with each and every one of us to make sure we absorbed the content and walked away fully competent with what we were taught. If we didn’t get something right there were no frustrations, they stuck with us until we got it right and were patient every step of the way. There is no better way to learn than doing it with your hands in real time, real life experience. To compliment the outstanding teaching is the location in which we were learning. I had never been to the Abrolhos Islands before and was absolutely blown away by how amazing the place was, and more to the fact that we got to learn in such a gorgeous location. Before and after study and learning hours, we even had the chance to go for a fish, spearfish, dive, swim or even just putt putt around in the dinghy that lives on the back of Starsand. All in all, this course was more than just about getting your ticket, it was an experience and I speak on behalf of the students on our trip that when I say that we all had such an incredible time and absolutely recommend to ANYONE who is interested in getting their Coxswain ticket. This is the way to do it.
