We visited this art gallery that is housed in a historic building that is pink in colour. Entrance is free and we found the art very interesting and of good variety. There are several galleries both on the ground and first floor. They have lift access to the first floor which is very helpful. There is also a working colourful piano to the left of the entrance. We very much enjoyed our visit.

Lovely old building, which was a former convent. Unfortunately, the main galley was closed (setting up a new exhibition), which was unfortunate during half term holidays. Friendly staff and other floors to explore. We enjoyed our free visit.

It was an amazing weekend in Bunbury Regional Art Gallery. Matsuri Festival was held here on both Saturday and Sunday. Beautiful shows, stalls and Japanese food. Love the Taiko drums the most. So coordinated and entertaining. Had takoyaki, yakisoba and pan cake. Great snacks while watching the show. Even the rain didn't stop us from watching the show! The car show was held on the Sunday. Not many classic Japanese cars though. There was a a Datsun Sunny, a 280Z and a 260Z on the classic side. Some heavily modified Japanese cars were on display too. Beautiful motorcycles too. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in this event. Thank you to the organisers of this event. Kudos 👏

Rate it as a place to kill some time for free - has nice courtyard area. Interesting maze of rooms and galleries in an old convent. A lot of it modern/conceptual type srt upsrairs - which didn't rock my boat. The interpretation panels were wordy and a bit tossy. Definitely not written with school children or Joe Average in mind. There was a visiting exhibition of Lester Prize portraits which was visually stunning. The text for these was interesting and easy to read. It is an old building and the worn and crumpled carpet is a a tripping hazard for anyone who has mobility issues...
