Trish creates artworks to share her creative response to our awesome but fragile coastal region. very She is curious about what different media can do and loves to draw, paint in oils and acrylics, work with silk and rope as well as other materials. Trish can be found exploring out in the landscape as well as working in her Dunsborough studio. She is highly motivated to share her skills and experiences with others through artworks as well as workshops.
Trish is fascinated with the movement of the sea and the surrounding coastal landscapes.  Coast walks and playing in the ocean are her joy and solace. Trish recreates the feelings she experiences by the ocean in her artworks. They are made with love and attention to detail using beautiful materials and bright colours. Trish's thirty years experience as a secondary art teacher has enabled her to develop a wide range of techniques and knowledge about materials. Trish is a regular participant in Margaret River Region Open Studios and other local art exhibitions where she has won prizes and gained a well known profile.

Trish paints in oil and acrylics as well as creating mixed media works. Her luxurious shibori silk scarves are dyed in ocean and sunset colours to replicate the effects of light through water. Trish weaves beach inspired  rope baskets from natural fibres bound with silk/merino twine  and other fibres that are embellished with beads and shells.  She also create shell imprinted beach bowls using white clay and makes sculptures using wire and found materials.

Trish's tranquil Dunsborough studio is tucked away  upstairs at Unit 4/7 Clark Street in the centre of town.
You can also find her online through Facebook and Instagram to view her wares and make an appointment to visit in the evenings or on weekends.

Trish enjoys collaborating with individuals and groups to create a unique art making experience during their time in the Margaret River Region.
