Speak to a local expert
Trish creates artwork to share her creative response to our extraordinary but fragile coastal region. She is curious about what different media can do and loves to draw, paint in oils and acrylics, and work with silk and rope, among other materials.
Trish paints in oil and acrylics and creates mixed-media works inspired by her explorations of the landscape. Her luxurious shibori silk scarves are dyed in ocean and sunset colours to replicate the effects of light through water. Trish weaves beach-inspired rope baskets from natural fibres bound with silk/merino twine and other fibres embellished with beads and shells. She also creates shell-imprinted beach bowls using white clay and makes sculptures using wire and found materials.

Make an appointment to visit the studio where you can view her works or book a unique art-making experience where she will share her skills and experiences.

You can also find Trish's work at locations throughout the Margaret River Region, including:

  • Busselton Visitor Centre for small beach inspired woven baskets
  • Busselton Jetty for whale and stingray fine art prints and some shell imprinted ceramic bowls.
  • Margaret River Visitor Centre for forest and Rivermouth fine art prints and forest inspired baskets.
  • Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse for lighthouse, Hamelin Bay, whale and stingray fine art prints, shibori silk scarves as well as beach inspired woven baskets and shell imprinted bowls.
