North Point in Cowaramup Bay produces possibly the most heavy-duty waves on the coast when the right conditions align. A southwest swell and easterly wind mean crowded waves too!
The Margaret River Pro is held here in conjunction with Surfers Point when the conditions are better here than Main Break or The Box. If the swell is over 2.5m, anyone who's anyone will be down here, so it's a great spot to just sit on the rocks and watch the action.

My favourite wave in west oz.
If is not a crowded day you can park your car on the right hill on he side of the beach and easily check the conditions.
Surfed 3 times in pretty good condition and the crowd even tho is usually big is really welcoming (pay respect and leave the local first).
If is overhead or double there’s a barrel section at the right rock and then it keep going into this fast right point that is not gonna leave you unsatisfied.
I find it really safe in terms of tide but it can change a lot ( got smacked a couple times but didn’t hit the bottom in the barrel section).
Although there’s some sharp rock on the right side so make sure you don’t take the wave out but use the channel on the left side.
Be respectful and enjoy this gem🤙🏻
