Enquire in advance to avoid disappointment, particularly for Shimano 105 models or above. School holidays and the Christmas break are always very busy. Although Life Cycle is closed Sundays and public holidays, often arrangements can be made for the return of hires that suit you.
Helmets are compulsory in Western Australia and are provided at no additional charge as are locks. It is recommended to bring your shoes and pedals for the best experience possible.

We hired bikes for a self guided wine tour. Karl was very helpful with giving us tips for route planning, and they have a very detailed trail map available. We opted for the hard tail MTB - a pair of well maintained Specialized Rockhoppers. These took us around our 30km route with no issues at all. Perfect for the gravelly Wadandi trail, as well as some sealed and unsealed roads. Karl was even kind enough to lend us a puncture repair kit, which thankfully we didn’t need.

Hired a couple e-bikes for a half day tour of Margaret River wineries. Bikes were in great condition and the route recommended to us was perfect in terms of difficulty and duration. Would highly recommend Life Cycle.

Did two days of ebike rentals. They gave us the charger so we could use it overnight. Just fantastic local knowledge. They gave us wonderful directions and recommendations. Margaret River had a wonderful trail system and their knowledge is key to the best use of the trails. Wine tasting while on e-bikes is the way to go if you ask me.

We had a brilliant day doing the sip n cycle trail. The electric bikes were perfect for it. One of the best days of our trip. Carl and his team are doing a wonderful job!
