Highly recommend doing this trail! We arrived around 8pm, just after sunset and we seen lots of ringtail possums, tawny frog mouth owls, baby kookaburra, kangaroos and a baby brushtail possum. Took about 1hour as we stopped and looked in trees a lot, what an incredible experience. Easy track to follow with poles with reflection so you don’t get lost

Great location of historic landmarks of early settlers in wonnerup, possum and bird watching hide, trails, picnic area. Plenty of kangaroos. Tuart forest location, information kiosk. No amenities close by.. A great 1.4 km circuit trail for nature lovers.

Short trail but nice and partially shaded :) nice board walk too with a wetlands birds viewing shed at the end (viewing flaps on the walls), but you need run through a giant horde of midgies to reach it! The entry sign recommends coming in the evening with flashlights and binoculars to spot possums. Apparently this reserve is home to the largest wild population of possums in WA! I didn't see any during the day time but did spot several kangaroos.

Night walk= enjoyable. Needs more signage to tell you how far you are around. As time and space in the dark seems further than it would be in the day light. The path is well trodden until about half way round, there it seems people turn back. The trail kinda ran out (less trodden) and if it weren’t for the red markers we would have gotten lost in the dark. Otherwise was a beautiful walk!
