At Brown Hill, they believe in the maxim that ‘great wine is made in the vineyard’ so they treat their grapes and the vineyard with the utmost respect – all the fruit is handpicked and hand-sorted at harvest time from the single site vineyard.

Margaret River is home to many iconic Australian wineries, including Brown Hill Estate. Just a short 12-minute scenic drive south-east of the town centre of Margaret River, you will discover the charming village of Rosa Brook and Brown Hill Estate’s cellar door.

Brown Hill's cellar door sits at the heart of the boutique winery and is operated by friendly members of this family-owned business. Their knowledge of the Margaret River region, their wines and their vineyards is exceptional.

The cellar door is located inside the winery, so visitors can observe the winemaking process as it happens throughout the year. The wine tasting experience takes visitors on a journey through Brown Hill Estate’s three ranges.

A very enjoyable experience on my first visit to the Brown Hill Estate. A terrific location for this family owned and run winery and no surprise that they know what they're talking about when it comes to wine. There's nothing like sharing a tasting experience with the passionate people who are involved in the entire production process from grape to glass.

Just visited their Cellar Door but very friendly and knowledgeable. Choice of about a dozen of their own grown wines. Tasting was free but we bought a red and a white. PS I can confirm the Ivanhoe Cabernet Sauvignon was delicious. Had it with a Sunday roast beef lunch when we got back to Perth.

Chiara was amazing and so was the wine. You have to come here for a wine tasting if you want to get the most out of your visit.
