Cherubino is the eponymous wine brand of award-winning Australian grapegrower and winemaker Larry Cherubino. Family-owned and farm-focussed, they make uniquely WA wines of great depth, detail and purity, true to their provenance.
Since its establishment in 2005 by award-winning Larry Cherubino and his wife Edwina, the Cherubino label has earned a reputation for innovation and success in the Australian wine industry.

At Cherubino, they firmly believe that the true essence of winemaking begins in the vineyard. Their winemaking process commences with meticulous attention to detail in soil and vine management, ensuring each grape reaches its full potential.

"Simplicity in winemaking requires great attention to detail in the vineyard, an uncompromising approach to fruit selection and uncomplicated winemaking, all framed by a kind season." - Larry Cherubino.

These words encapsulate their commitment to crafting wines that genuinely express the unique sense of place from which they originate. They take immense pride in producing sub-regional and single vineyard wines that reflect the distinct character and provenance of their origin.

Visitors are always welcome to the Cherubino Cellar Door located in the heart of Margaret River. Guests have the opportunity to taste wines not only from the Margaret River region but also the Great Southern and Pemberton as Cherubino also farms grapes in those regions. With a number of tasting options available, visitors can discover seasonal wine ranges at their leisure. Wine can be paired with a selection of antipasto and enjoyed on the grounds or on a cosy couch. The Linton and Kay art gallery offers a captivating backdrop in the barrel hall where art seamlessly merges with wine.

For a more personalised experience, private tastings are available in the board room for up to 20 guests or in the barrel room for up to 12 guests per booking. Bookings are recommended.

Additionally, Cherubino provides accommodation for those seeking a tranquil escape surrounded by vineyards. The three beautifully appointed Guest Houses are located a short stroll from the cellar door.

Cherubino offers an opportunity to experience some of the very best wine that Western Australia has to offer.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic establishment and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with amazing service. Despite our initial concerns about the place being too fancy, we quickly realized that it had a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our experience was made even more memorable by the attentive care of a lady, who went above and beyond in providing professional and friendly service. The prices for both food and wine were surprisingly reasonable, prompting us to even purchase a few bottles to take home. Not only is this place aesthetically pleasing, it also offers a beautiful location to enjoy a delightful lunch. We were thoroughly impressed with the menu and the quality of the food. The waitstaff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. One aspect that truly stood out was the extensive wine list, featuring a wide variety of international premium wines. It was a pleasant surprise to see that many of these exceptional wines were available by the glass, which is uncommon in the region. This added a touch of luxury to our meal and left us thoroughly impressed. In summary, this place offers amazing food, a brilliant menu, a sensational wine list, and excellent service. It is undoubtedly a hidden gem that deserves to be added to everyone's list of must-visit places. I highly recommend experiencing all that this establishment has to offer. Alex

Fantastic lunch with great amuse bouche options of caviar and waffles, superb scallops, pork neck and flat head. Stars of the show were the fried potatoes (a true culinary achievement of flavour and texture… I didn’t even photograph them until I ate one!), and the artichokes that topped the pork. Only strange anomaly- the wine tasting at the bar end of the restaurant is run separately from the dining room and our preferred Cherubino wine wasn’t available in that specific year. Otherwise excellent lunch.

It was our first time at Masseria, having been familiar with Ben's work in the past. Lovely afternoon. Excellent service all round. Good to catch up with Ben briefly as we left and to hear of the initial success. Special commendation to front of house manager Andrea for her attentiveness and style. Very happy to recommend, and yes, we'll be back.

I really, really enjoyed the food. The wine was great as well. Maybe I'm a fatty, but the pasta portions did feel a bit small. Special thanks to Andrea for handling our booking changes for us, and managing the gentleman kicking up a fuss over American Express not being accepted.
