Located in the heart of the Wilyabrup Valley, Hay Shed Hill is one of Margaret River's oldest vineyards. Their cellar door has an extensive range on offer with over 25 wines on tasting. From the classic's that Margaret River is so famous for, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay to Spanish Tempranillo and the wine of the moment, Malbec. There's a wine for everyone!
Hay Shed Hill is located in the heart of the Wilyabrup Valley - the premier sub-region of the Margaret River - where the first vines were planted and the great tradition of Margaret River wine began. 

Hay Shed Hill is part of a small and prestigious group of pioneer vineyards that have established Margaret River as a world-class wine producing region. Family-owned the property boasts a beautiful cellar door and restaurant overlooking some of the oldest vines in the region. 

The vineyard, one of the region's oldest, produces some of Margaret River's best Cabernet Sauvignons and Chardonnays’. Owner and winemaker Michael Kerrigan is one of the country's most talented winemakers, putting Hay Shed Hill among the top wineries in the country with its Red 5 Star Halliday rating and was rated one of the 10 Best Value Wineries in the 2020 edition. 

Hay Shed Hill Cellar door is open from 10am-5pm 7-days-a-week.

I discovered Hay Shed Hill a few years ago and every time I'm down south, I try to drop in. Karine at the Cellar Door is fabulous, and if you're lucky you can see Kegs, the winemaker talking about the current vintage. And if you're REALLY lucky then you get to see Lizzie the winery doggo. Sit for the tasting, enjoy wine and learn a little. And if you've got time, lunch at Rustico is well worth it.

Delicious food, beautiful food and very accommodating of dietary requirements (coeliac and a dairy allergy.) Our server Tahlia was so friendly and helpful. Amazing service! Highly recommend.

Went for a tasting, stayed for lunch, had a great time. Staff were very confident with their wine knowledge and the wines were beautiful. Had a kids corner for the little one too and didn't mind that he was walking to and from the whole time. Food was phenomenal and in a beautiful location. Will recommend to everyone who goes this way.
