Stormflower Vineyard - certified organic since 2016 A wine adventure from the incredible dirt in the Wilyabrup pocket of the Margaret River region. Stormflower is all about producing the best wine they can from their small block, with all fruit from the vineyard being certified organic.
Sustainable farming is an integral part of the Stormflower philosophy. They pay great attention to the health of the soil, and this results in a vineyard that is a healthy, bio diverse and resilient system. The vineyard has gone through many changes since they bought it in 2007. They began with a transition to organic composts and natural soil biology stimulants and minimising the use of chemicals. They gradually moved the vineyard to a fully organic system, and achieved full organic certification in 2016.

They ensure that their viticultural and winemaking practices are as gentle on the environment as they can be, and they focus on regenerating and working with their natural ecosystems. Maintaining organic certification is a way of providing independent assurance to their customers and supporters that they practice what they preach. It is important to them that they are transparent about their activities in the vineyard and in the winery, because what they do affects more than just their immediate surroundings.

Their minimalist, sustainable philosophy extends to their cellar door. A relaxed, understated, natural space in which to sit back and enjoy their wine and their surroundings. Their tasting table and their sales counter are made from one of the Marri trees that blew down outside the cellar door during a storm in 2013. Their cellar door has been set up to taste their wines as they like to enjoy them, sitting at a table or in a comfortable chair in an environment that is simple, welcoming and unhurried. They welcome all visitors to explore their wines, their cellar door and their gardens. Their gardens are perfect for a picnic (rugs provided), and to enjoy a glass of wine and some fine local produce.

Utè was amazing! The wines were delicious and tasting well priced. We got to create our own taste plate from the menu items. Which was extremely affordable and delicious. Not to mention exactly what we wanted. We could have stayed for hours. Such a relaxed and welcoming environment. Will definitely be back!

Uté is very knowledgeable and friendly with some fantastic wines. The Shiraz and Cabernet Shiraz are fantastic and they have a great selection of cold meats and cheeses to go with it.

One of my favourite vine yard and tasting place! Lovely service and more importantly the wine was really excellent... from their reds like Shiraz and CS as well as the outstanding Chardonnay and cab sav! It's a first time i shipped 1 dozen of wines back to Singapore.. that's v rare despite being in Margaret River 4 x and even not from Borassa or Mac Vale or Hunter or even Napa!! Enjoy.. and best organic.. plus the dessert wine was delicious..

Amazing quaint little spot with a stunning garden. Lizzy was an absolute gem. Wine tasting with a 3 year old and a new born has it's challenges, so thank you for making us feel so welcome and at ease. We purchased some of the cheeses & that chutney is ridiculously good (we went back and got more on the way home). Every wine I had was delicious and all organic (some even vegan friendly too). Can't wait to visit again, great experience for us, would highly recommend.
