Nestled in the northern part of the Margaret River Region, the City of Busselton has been named the winner of the 2024 7News Top Tourism Town Award – an award recognising towns dedicated to providing visitors with unique and memorable holiday experiences.

Relying heavily on public voting, Busselton’s recent achievements such as the launch of Jetstar’s direct air service from Sydney, the introduction of new offerings like the Hilton Garden Inn, and the exciting development of Saltwater Busselton, were also among the key factors considered in the judging process.

The overwhelming support from both the local community and its visitors showcased their deep passion for the City – and now – Busselton will proudly represent Western Australia on the national stage at Australia’s Top Tourism Town Awards in September.

Our heartfelt congratulations are also extended to Josh Whiteland, local Wadandi custodian and proud owner-operator of Koomal Dreaming who has been honoured with the award for Individual Excellence in Aboriginal Tourism at the Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards – Individual Categories.
