Miki's Open Kitchen in Margaret River features an open kitchen where guests can watch Miki and his team prepare authentic Japanese dishes.

The dishes served won’t be found in Japan. Instead, on the plate, you will meet with ingredients that Miki relies on, from the farmer’s hands that work the fertile soil borne by the salt cloaked breeze and natural minerals.

Combined with a rich array of local produce and technique of using shallow copper pots, the dynamic vibe at Miki's is reflected in the tailor-made degustation. An eclectically curated range of Japanese sake and local wines completes the culinary experience.

Came tonight for my mother's birthday. A lot of places that are highly rated disappoint me, but Miki's was excellent. Very attentive and professional staff but still down to earth... great atmosphere which was simple and non-pretentious... and excellent food. We had the complete menu and there was a great selection, and every dish was really tasty, with some interesting things new to me. The staff accommodated with alternatives for two of the items on the menu that I didn't eat (crab and prawn), which given how they run their menu must have been difficult, but they did it and the alternatives were great. Worth every 5 star review they have received, thank you for a great meal and great atmosphere and service.

Miki’s Open Kitchen is a standout in Margaret River! Exceptional food, beautiful presentation and incredible flavours, complemented by excellent service. A memorable dining experience and an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended — well worth it!

A wonderful dining experience with so many elements and delightful tastes. The non-alcoholic pairings were spectacular. Would have loved a bit more interaction from the kitchen but understandable when they are creating such amazing dishes. If you want to treat yourself to a wonderful dining experience i would definitely recommend Miki's.
