As we enter the second half of Djilba – the Season of Conception in the six seasons of Wadandi Boodja – we are treated to a boom in vibrant wildflower displays, whales playing along the coast, and golden sunrises across the region’s waters. CinefestOZ is in full swing, bringing a rich program of original Australian film to the South West, before the creative spotlight shifts to Margaret River Region Open Studios – 16 days of arts and crafts with 150 artists opening their doors.
The month is brimming with festivals from the South West Japan Festival honouring Busselton’s sister city of Sugito (located on the main island of Japan), to the Down South Dark Beer Fest at The Servo Taphouse. Add in a full line-up of live beats and delicious eats, and September is set to shine.
