It’s back again. Australia’s newest winter festival. Put a hold on hibernation, break up with your doona – and get down to the Margaret River region between July 19 -28 for as much quality wine, seam-splitting comfort food, fireside brews and general good times as your body can handle.
You’ll find winter feasts, rich wines, live music and a wilderness that grows from the inside out. Get ready for gourmet food appreciation events, wine dinners, workshops, bonfires, brews and more with over 20 unique events throughout the region.
Some highlights below but there are many more so check the Cabin Fever Festival website for details.
Night of Noir – Howard Park Chapel (Sold Out)
Five-course degustation, paired with Pinot Noir, including a tarot reading from a local fortune teller (if you dare). Dinner is set by candle light in the luxurious Wine Chapel, accompanied by Marchand & Burch, Australian and French imported wines and Howard Park sparkling. Dress code: Black, formal attire.
Due to popular demand – the Secret Dinner Series will return this year. Shrouded in mystery, some event details are still unknown – but event organisers can assure a multi-course feast paired with premium beverages and held at an exclusive location. This Secret Dinner is for luxe seekers. Think truffles by the fire on a private vineyard estate, hosted by a well-known chef.
Hip Hop Yoga Brunch – Darleen’s
Think downward dog with a cocktail and chilled hip hop beats. Add a three-course share style vegetarian brunch by Rua Teweehi and you are living your best winter life.
The event offers 10 days of bespoke events across the whole region. Make sure you get in and book your tickets early!
