Once a sleepy hollow and home to designer cows, Cowaramup town centre has evolved to a fun hospitality & retail country town high street now featuring new comers West Winds Gin Distillery & Tavern and the Servo Taphouse (both in walking distance). It also boasts the best of the best winery restaurants including the renowned Rústico @ Hay Shed Hill restaurant, the new owners of Rústicoq Bed & Breakfast.

The guest rooms and communal areas were completed in April 2017, and each recently renovated to have their own unique charm with captivating attention to detail that will ensure a relaxed, elegant, and comfortable stay.
Rústicoq Bed & Breakfast offers rustic heritage style shared accommodation in a traditional country home, with a verandah out the front and European style garden and courtyard at the rear.

The shared open living areas come equipped with cocktail making facilities, gin bar, wine glasses, cheese boards & knives, board games and lawn games. You can enjoy your favourite local wines, cheeses & gourmet produce, make a board and take time relaxing in the communal areas under the vine.

For absolute privacy, you can choose to rent the entire property for an unforgettable stay with your 10 favourite people or choose one of the intimate guest rooms where you will come into contact with other guests whilst sharing some of the communal spaces. The property as a whole – for comfort, locality and aesthetic is ideal for wedding parties and families.

Beautifully styled spaces and outdoor areas the perfect back drop for “getting ready” and pre wedding photos. The largest of the bedrooms is a studio located stand alone and separate to the main guest house a ten step stroll across the courtyard – where more privacy can be achieved for parents, children or the newly wed couple.

When renting the Rústicoq property entirely you have the option to take your celebration to the next level and host a private dinner or cocktail party event for 8-40 people, this catering service is exclusively available and managed by the inhouse Rústico team.

Just returned home from 3 lovely nights in this gem. We stayed in the Roost with our 2 little Border Terriers and couldn't fault the place. It has it all really.....rustic, beautifully furnished, the comfiest bed ever (!), a welcome bottle of wine, nibbles, games and a gin bar (really!). 10/10 to the thoughtful owners. We truly felt welcomed. Thank you.

Such a thoughtful place. From the bottle of wine in the room, to the accessible snacks, cheese boards, glasses and gin in the common area. Yes you heard it, gin and tonic to sensibly help yourself. We stayed in The Roost and enjoyed the massive breakfast spread provided over the weekend. The owners have put so much thought into all the little things they've added (including lawn games, a room umbrella and a tv on a wall mounted rotating frame). As with all new things there were some teething issues with the bathroom that is to be modified shortly. Hosts and staff were very helpful and responsive. Thanks for a lovely weekend. P.S. Bed so comfortable we asked for the details to get one ourselves!

A good stay at the new accommodation by Rustico at Hay Shed Hill. The wine in the fridge was a big plus. I'm not sure "bed and breakfast" best describes it is there is no breakfast through the week. Only bed. Which I found disappointing. It is great that there are lots of dishes and cheese boards to use, however there is nowhere to rinse them, and you leave them out. As these are not cleared every day there was a big pile of dishes by the time we checked out. The breakfast that is provided at the weekend is excellent. I also found it odd that each night there were people in the kitchen, that guests can't access, making lots of noise and playing music. Took away from the "relaxing in the country" feel. A good start for the team at Rusticoq and I'm sure they will improve over time.

Beautiful, comfortable accomodation. The old bakehouse has been beautifully renovated with modern amenities and great style. The breakfast spread was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful.
