Cape Lodge in the Margaret River wine region is an exceptional luxury retreat that combines world-class hospitality with an unbeatable vineyard setting. Nestled on 40 acres of lush gardens and vineyards, Cape Lodge feels like a secluded paradise. From the moment I arrived, the friendly staff made me feel completely at home, offering personal touches that set the tone for a refined stay.
My suite was elegant and spacious, with views over the lake and vineyard. I spent the day exploring nearby wineries before returning to the Lodge’s award-winning restaurant, where the chef’s tasting menu was a revelation of flavors, showcasing seasonal ingredients from local farms and the on-site kitchen garden. Paired with renowned Margaret River wines, each course was a journey into the heart of this gourmet region. Cape Lodge is the perfect destination for wine lovers and those seeking a luxurious escape in the Australian countryside.

A lovely escape. The resort is nestled in a complex that feel wild but with a homey touch. I love the breakfast dishes they serve here. Simple but flavourful. Dinner is also lovely. The main restaurant allows you to observe the passing of time through the view of a quiet lake.

Realised I hadn't reviewed Cape Lodge after having visited a few years ago for Mrs C's birthday.
We had an excellent stay. Great breakfast. Afternoon tea and cake. A delicious dinner in the evening.
We even got a wine tour.
Highly recommended.

Upon arrival we asked for any information on any wine tours, we’re told via a man in the back room shouting to the new girl in front desk that it’s probably to late with us staying for only 3 nights, we’re informed reception would let us know but they never did, We then asked where the bar was and were told there wasn’t one, we were asked repeatedly if we would like to book for dinner, the hotel is in the middle of no where, 30 mins drive to nearest village. We did how ever stop at some vineyards on the day we checked out and without the hotels help managed to find more of what we were looking for wouldn’t return here, it’s catered more for the elderly
