Nala Watajelup Keelip - Our River Mouth Camp. With the Blackwood River right at your doorstep, Turner Holiday Park is the best holiday spot for fishing, boating, swimming and enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the river mouth. You can often see visiting dolphins cruising the river in front of the park. Large stingrays (over summer) and pelicans are happy to share your catch of the day at the filleting tables.
The park is within easy walking distance from the Augusta Town Centre. A ten minute walk along the river and through the dunes in the opposite direction will take you to the beautiful Southern Ocean and its unspoiled beaches: the area is an easy access paradise for wind and kite-surfers along the river and for board surfers when the ocean swell is up.

Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park forms the backdrop of the Park and wonderful bush tracks can be started right from the park office.

The two bedroom chalet provides the perfect family accommodation for your getaway, catering to all of your relaxation needs. Overlooking the beautiful Blackwood River, your family holiday will be a memorable one! The air conditioned 2 Bedroom Chalets are suited for families of up to five people, with a king sized bed in the main bedroom and a queen sized bed + single bed in the second bedroom. We went camping here. It was really good but from the hygienic point of view the kitchen and washroom it was not up to the mark as no one cleaned them, it was dirty. I think the kitchen floors should be cleaned daily. The microwave took a lot of time to get things hot. Overall it was good. It would be excellent if these few things could be cared for. 😊

We found the park quite pokey, it seems the sites are quite packed in. Toilets and showers were really good. The extra price they charge for the "kid tax" is a little insulting. Also found the park quite dark at night and without a torch we would have difficulty navigating to the toilet block.

Lovely treed, sheltered camping ground, Hardly felt the wind in this location. Sites all vary considerably - some have bitumen road on the front, some are near toilets, so some on slopes, have trees on them, etc. Staff at the office super helpful and communicate well, even when there's issues. We went at the busiest time of year through NYE and found laundry and toilet blocks busy but ok. BYO laundry lines if you've got a lot to do. Felt like a secure area, although we still locked up for peace of mind.

I would suggest your impresion of this property will be strongly influenced by where you are placed in the Park. Although the sites at the front of the Park are small, they are flat and in close proximity to the Hardy Inlet. It is a beautiful stretch of water. If you are allocated a site in 'Kangaroo Flats', I would suggest your impressions would not be so good. The sites in this area are either sandy and sloping (to the extent that even with levelling ramps, getting your van level is very difficult) or on a gravel/bitumen carpark. Augusta is a very scenic town and the Park is well located. Ablutions are dated but adequate. We would only return if we were not located in Kangaroo Flats.
