We’re excited to share some big news: the iconic Margaret River Venison Farm is now officially rebranding as Caves Farm. Whilst we’ll always be the proud home of Margaret River Venison, this rebrand marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

With big plans afoot to expand and grow the range of products available in our Farm Shop, the addition of boutique farm stay accommodation, and an exciting new dining experience in the design phase we needed a new name that reflects the full breadth of what we offer — and what’s still to come.
Caves Farm captures the spirit of our growth, while staying true to our roots as home to our venison, who will always be in both our history and our future.

Our Farm Shop offers a wide range of local produce, including fresh meats (Beef, Venison, Chicken, Lamb & line caught WA Fish), a large range of small goods and cheeses, assorted condiments, jams, chocolates, sweet treats from our new bakery and fresh barista made coffee. The shop serves both retail customers and supplies local restaurants with premium Venison meat and small goods.

Our Farm Shop is proud to offer a wide range of fresh, high-quality products—headlined by our signature Margaret River Venison. Ethically raised, free-range, and pasture-fed, our venison is one of the healthiest red meat choices available—naturally lean, high in protein, and rich in iron. Because of its leanness, we recommend cooking it fast and hot, to a perfect medium or medium-rare.

Need a pick-me-up? Our Farm Shop also serves fresh, barista-made coffee daily from 9:00am to 3:30pm—perfect to enjoy alongside our homemade pies, pastries and baked goods, made fresh in our on-site bakery.

I had a fantastic experience at Margaret River Venison Meat Shop. The quality of their venison is exceptional, with a rich flavor and tenderness that’s hard to beat. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, offering great recommendations and insights into their products. The shop itself has a welcoming atmosphere, and I appreciated the attention to detail in their preparation and presentation. If you’re a fan of venison or just looking to try something new, this shop is definitely worth a visit!

A must visit for meat lovers who like to try Australian game meat.. Venison pies are a must and highly recommend their hot chocolate.. The selection of sausages is amazing.. Beware that certain products such as venison chorizo contain pork. They do sell venison sinew if you are looking..

Dropped in while on holiday and picked up a couple of pies for lunch and some kebabs to put on the bbq. Well I have to tell you the pies were the best we have ever eaten and we have tasted a few pies over the years. The pastry was melt in the mouth and the filling held in the pie perfectly flavour was fantastic- my husband had the venison, mushroom and truffle and I had plain - well let’s just say we ended up going back the next day and buying more to bring back to home to Perth. We never got to eating the kebabs while away so brought them back home and they are tomorrows dinner. Can’t wait to try them as I’m sure they won’t disappoint. Venison is such a wonderful meat - just wished they were closer to home
