Now pouring wine by the Glass. Platters available. Call in and relax as you enjoy the warm surrounds and picturesque views over the vineyard.
‘Matilda’ the resident Tiger Moth will greet you at the door. Take in the story of Brian Edwards and his flight to honour his Bomber Pilot Father and raise money for Legacy. Hear about their Underwater Wine lying at the bottom of Flinders Bay in Augusta. Book a seated flight in the ‘’Wings’ or lean on the bar and enjoy the extensive views. Look up and admire the builders craftmanship on the ceiling. The renovated hangar houses the works of Brushstrokes of the South West featuring eleven Margaret River artists.
Producing Estate-grown varietals, such as semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Shiraz, and Cabernet.  With new plantings of Merlot, Grenache, Malbec and Cabernet Franc.
The winery honours the story of founder Brian Edwards, who set out on an epic adventure in a tiny Tiger Moth (Matilda), flying solo from Binbrook in England (where his Father was last posted before being declared MIA in WW2) to Perth, Western Australia. Brian, swayed by his passion for Shiraz and the potential he saw in the Margaret River region, then began to follow another dream. Discovering a property where he could first land Matilda and, secondly, plant grapes. What started as a simple tree change grew into a thriving family business.  Now, the Edwards family has partnered with the Walsh family, which has a long history in the area. The Walsh and Edwards family continues the tradition of high quality and leading by example in the wine industry.
Enjoy the picturesque views across the Vineyard, admire the new building and learn about the underwater wine lying at the bottom of Flinders Bay in Augusta. The team have created a Cellar Door masterpiece to pay homage to Brian, Matilda, their journey and inspirational wines you will want to share with family and friends.

Another enjoyable visit to Edwards Wines. The famous bi-plane ‘Matilda’ and its fascinating back-story greet us as we enter the spacious tasting room. The tastings and/or pairings are conducted in an informative but relaxed, unhurried manner by friendly and well-informed staff. We chose afterwards to enjoy the Cab Sav with a delicious platter in front of the large picture windows, overlooking the vineyard. A delightful experience all round and as we joined their Wine Club, are now looking forward to our first shipment!

What an unexpected surprise once the welcome doors opened. Super friendly staff who totally looked after us with tastings of bubbles and white chocolate (yumm) plus the story of the whole Matilda journey. Incredible! Our pooch Monty was well looked after too. Thoroughly enjoyed the on-site Gallery, with the current surf related theme, also great service and time to peruse at leisure. Totally recommend a visit to Edwards winery for so many reasons. Thank you 👌👍😊

We loved the cellar door, the staff were outstanding & the wines were to die for. Whether your a sparkling gal or a cab sav connoisseur...all are beautiful. By far the most charming we've been to (and we've been to a few...). The staff were attentive, super informative & kept us entertained throughout! Janet, Ali, Claire - keep up the fantastic work!!
