Speak to a local expert
"Gralyn Estate has established a high reputation for its wines. The age of the vines and the site are significant factors." James Halliday
Gralyn Estate opened the region's first cellar door in 1978. The Estate is recognised as one of Australia's most prestigious boutique wineries, having been awarded numerous gold medals and trophies at national and international wine shows. Today's modern tasting room is a popular tourist destination situated on Caves Road Wilyabrup, in the heart of the Margaret River wine region.

Gralyn produces both dry and sweet wines and pioneered the region's first port styles. The Estate is family owned and operated and wines can only be purchased from their Cellar Door or their website. Visitors are welcome to taste the full range of wines free of charge and learn about the grapes and wine-making from the knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Showcasing Gralyn Estate’s long heritage producing premium wines, these limited availability ninety-minute experiences conclude in Gralyn Cellars, the estate’s original cellar door and the first of its kind in Margaret River. Opened back in 1978 this space is normally closed to the public and this is a rare opportunity to experience a piece of the region’s wine history.

For the sweethearts this is a must go to. The range of sweet and fortified wines is outstanding. Personally I love the reserve chardonnay. They only do a reserve. Which comes at $90 a bottle and is the most expensive one in the region. They do not charge for tasting. No bus tours.

Absolutely fantastic wines and fortified wines. As someone who enjoys the sweeter varieties of wines and a fortified/port fanatic, I have to admit that I was overjoyed at the range available, and upon tasting, found myself craving for more. Such was the lustre of the Gralyn Estate's sweet and port/fortified wines that I ended up walking away with a dozen assorted bottles. Will be back for more.

Just wanted to say thank you to Laurie, for a great experience. Our tasting was one of the more memorable moments of our trip to WA. Laurie took time with our tasting and helped us broaden our horizons with the wines on offer. We will definitely be back next time we are in WA!

Wow! What lovely views from inside a super modern setting with chocolate and coffee infused wine tasting. If you like ‘Port’, this is even better. What I especially like is the family owned feel you get when you walk in. We bought 2 bottles which are very much looked forward to tasting 👍🏻😁
