Speak to a local expert
"Gralyn Estate has established a high reputation for its wines. The age of the vines and the site are significant factors." James Halliday
Gralyn Estate opened the region's first cellar door in 1978. The Estate is recognised as one of Australia's most prestigious boutique wineries, having been awarded numerous gold medals and trophies at national and international wine shows. Today's modern tasting room is a popular tourist destination situated on Caves Road Wilyabrup, in the heart of the Margaret River wine region.

Gralyn produces both dry and sweet wines and pioneered the region's first port styles. The Estate is family owned and operated and wines can only be purchased from their Cellar Door or their website. Visitors are welcome to taste the full range of wines free of charge and learn about the grapes and wine-making from the knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Opened back in 1978 this space is normally closed to the public and this is a rare opportunity to experience a piece of the region’s wine history.

Decanter Magazine has recently classified the Gralyn Reserve Chardonnay as exceptional.

"With a total of 10 trophies and counting, the Gralyn Artizan Rare Muscat is regarded as one of Australia’s best fortified wines."

Visited Gralyn Estate on a friend's recommendation. We were greeted by friendly staff and given a complimentary wine tasting of many of their produce. Wonderful tasting and excellent information from Lexi. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit that included a tour through the Cellar. Bought the Racy Red and had the pleasure of drinking it tonight. Thanks for the recommendation, now it's my turn. You must visit this beautiful Estate.

Amazing wine, we visited back in March 2024 and meet the team who run it and had a great tasting experience. Enjoying a chilled Racy Red which is delicious. Looking forward to visiting again.

Good Margaret River experience. I found their wines a bit pricey especially the fortified wines. Tasting is free but i really recommend you to buy some wine to support them afterwards. Cheers

The word that comes to mind is 'wow'. What a wonderful experience at a beautiful family owned and operated vineyard. 'Jo' took us through an extensive, complimentary tasting. There were far too many highlights to mention them all but let's just say we freighted a dozen wines Home to Adelaide. All of the wine is elegant, refined and has unique style. The complexity of flavour was outstanding and the availability of different vintages to taste across several varieties made the tasting really fun and interesting. My partner thoroughly enjoyed the several fortified wines on offer. Thank you very much for a superior cellar door experience team. A must see *and taste* for the wine connoisseur!
