Born from a vision to merge traditional winemaking with maritime innovation, Subsea Estate commenced its journey in May 2024 with its inaugural deep-sea 'winter' immersion.
This pioneering process harnesses the raw power of the WA's ocean environment in ways previously unseen in Australian wine.
Specialist divers deploy custom-designed vats to precise depths, where constant temperatures and ocean swells influence each vintage.

Found this place by accident and so glad we did. Family tried the wine tasting that they enjoyed. Unfortunately I was driving so no alcohol for me but thankfully I tried Abalone for my first time.
Staff educated me as to what Abalone was and the process of their wine.
Lovely staff and such a beautiful relaxing experience amongst the Harbour🍷

Had a fantastic visit to the Underwater Winery (Subsea Estate). The staff, especially the lady who served us, was incredibly welcoming and passionate about sharing their unique story. The tasting experience was well-priced at just $15 for four wines, making it both an enjoyable and great-value experience. I’m not a wine lover, but my girlfriend is and she loved it. Highly recommend for wine lovers looking for something a little different!

Was recommended to stop here after the amazing lighthouse tour.. so glad I did! I had wanted to visit a winery in the region and how cool to taste something unique as underwater wine! The wine was delicious as was the abalone. Lovely couple very connected to the area and passionate about what they are doing running the operation - lovely to see people’s dreams and hard work come to fruition. It was reasonably priced for the dual wine and abalone tasting 🙂

Cool spot with an interesting story. Definitely more modern than your average winery. Ask about the process of submerging the wine vats under the sea - its fascinating
