How to Get Here

THE JOURNEY FROM PERTH TO MARGARET RIVER
Margaret River is located in the beautiful South West region of Western Australian. Situated 272 kilometres south of Perth or a three hour drive, this region offers a huge selection of world-class wineries, gourmet food and boutique accommodation making it the perfect destination for a romantic weekend or short break.

DRIVING BY CAR
There are two main highways that can be taken to arrive at Margaret River. Visitors arriving via Perth airport can now take a very quick route along Roe Highway which flows directly into Kwinana Highway (National Route 1- State Route 2). People already residing in Perth should begin their journey by heading out of the city south along Kwinana Freeway. Continue south along this highway which becomes Forrest Highway until Bunbury. Turn left at the first roundabout in Bunbury onto Robertson Drive (State Route Ten).  At the next roundabout you reach turn left again onto Bussell Highway (State Route Ten) and continue to Busselton. As you approach Busselton, go straight through any roundabouts and then left at the end (Vasse roundabout) onto Bussell Hwy.  This road will take you through beautiful farming country and grapes vines and on to Margaret River. The route is well sign posted and the journey will take approximately three hours. You may wish to get off Kwinana Freeway at Safety Bay Road in order to stop off in Mandurah.

The alternative highway is the inland route which is a little slower getting here, but quite scenic. This highway is known as the South Western Highway. The South Western Highway guides you inland from the suburb of Armadale, Pinjarra, Waroona, Harvey, Brunswick Junction and on into Bunbury then Busselton, Cowaramup and through to Margaret River.
