Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate! Not to mention FREE chocolate tastings.

The Margaret River Chocolate Company is a must-visit location for all the family. Come and see the professional Chocolatiers hand craft award-winning chocolates through the Chocolate Viewing Window! Or simply enjoy a coffee in the Chocolate Cafe and indulge with a slice of fresh house-made cakes.

Commonly referred to as "The Chocolate Factory", The Margaret River Chocolate Company is one of Western Australia's most popular tourist attractions, with manufacturing, sales and cafe facilities in both Margaret River and the Swan Valley and a concept store in the heart of the Perth CBD.

The (original) Margaret River factory is located on a peaceful and picturesque rural property just 20 minutes from both Margaret River and Busselton. The company's second factory is located in the heart of Perth's historic Swan Valley, just 20 minutes from the Perth CBD. Both locations provide a fascinating insight into the world of chocolate, with visitors treated to FREE chocolate tastings, interactive displays, viewing windows to watch the chocolate products being made and a friendly, holiday atmosphere.

A wealth of information on all aspects of chocolate is available, plus both factories sell a huge, mouth-watering range of chocolate bars, chocolate-coated delights, hand made truffles, novelty chocolates, chocolate body products, chocolate sauce, cookies, ice-cream, chocolate milk and a variety of chocolate cakes. There's something for everyone, with well over 100 different products on offer!

The Margaret River Chocolate Company's facilities also include a cafe for casual indoor and outdoor dining. So, sit for a while and relax in the comfortable setting whilst enjoying fabulous food. The menu showcases fresh produce from the organic vegetable garden, orchard and olive grove located on the farm. All the cakes in the cafe are made in house and fresh with usually between 10 and 15 different cakes to choose from... Rocky Road or Cookies and Cream cheesecakes right through to gluten-free Orange and Almond cakes and of course a traditional Mudcake and more.

Visitors of all ages are welcomed with friendly, helpful staff, fantastic products, plenty of parking and a welcoming, fully air-conditioned environment. They are looking forward to your visit!

A great experience in the Margaret River wine region! Especially they having a lot of things to taste. The outdoors is really beautiful and you can spend hours looking at all the goodies they have. The options are enormous from ice creams to chocolates to coffee to food as well as so many varieties of this plus gifting options. They also have their wine cellar not too far from here! Always good, free tastings are a draw card and no matter how hard you try not too, you will still end up buying something! Even if it is just a bag of buttons... The venue also allows for dogs outside and given that there is a huge outdoor area, it was quite convenient to have the option. The staff are nice enough and theres a big ranger of cafe style lunch options if you we after something a bit more savoury. Worth a stop, great area, great chocolate and again, those tasters... Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate. What's not to love? Great spot with a nice grassed area out the back where the kids can run around, but would benefit greatly for some play equipment. That being said, it's always busy and the chocolate is delicious. Definitely recommend for a visit. Damian Matacz

What a great WA icon. This place is a must see and visit. It can get quite busy in peak season, but it's still will worth the visit. It's even better if you can sneak in a visit when it's quiet and you're not surrounded by people everywhere you turn. The kids love the fact that there is free chocolate to taste and the fact that you can watch the chocolate being made through a glass window. Michelle Adams
