Western Australia's first bean to bar chocolate makers.
At Gabriel Chocolate they transform the humble raw cacao bean into delicate, smooth and award winning chocolate.
Gabriel Chocolate import the world's best raw cacao beans and turn them into fine quality single-origin chocolate bars at their custom-built chocolate gallery at Yallingup, in the Margaret River wine region. Their single-origin chocolate bars enhance the naturally-occurring flavour profiles of different cacao bean varieties. Indulge yourselves in a (anti-oxidant packed) holiday treat or find the perfect gift for your foodie friends, family and clients.

Loved that it was more intimate and luxurious than the chocolate factory. Must do the chocolate tastings! Shows a bean to bar concept with more chocolate range from different countries (Ecuador, Peru, Madagascar, etc) than just milk, dark or white chocolate. Cost about $9 a bar, but the taste was good (I'm a dark chocolate fan).
Also has gelato, hot chocolate drinks, coffee. Sit outside overlooking the lawn and the kids have a lot of space to run around to blow off some energy in between road trips.

Fantastic chocolate, with a huge variety of milk and dark chocolate due to the different flavours of the beans from different countries all over the world. Definitely worth the visit. Also, the lady who provided the taste test was very friendly.

Free choc tasting but it’s not up to par. If I have to choose I would go for the milk choc. Dark choc wasn’t good. But I had some coffee here. It’s not bad. Service was good too. They have both outdoor and indoor seating. I sat outside which was overlooking House of Cards winery.

Can't imagine how a chocolate maker could make a shop experience better than this.
Even though we arrived 10 minutes before closing (we knew which bars we wanted prior to arrival) the host still encouraged a thorough taste journey across the amazingly varied tastes of the different Gabriel chocolate delights.
If you like generic mass produced chocolate that is imported from Europe and "re-formed" in Margaret River, go to the other place back down the road.
The flavours here are unique.
