Came here for brunch and was instantly floored by the location of the cafe - it’s perched atop a beach and overlooks fantastic views of the sea and sand. Very cosy layout to have breakfast and brunch.. ordered the truffle mushroom and scrambled egg toasts and they were so delicious!!! Especially the truffle mushroom ones that just explodes with flavours in your mouth. The hot chocolate also did not disappoint at all.. and was a sweet treat on a cold day :) Highly recommend!

Great spot, really nice. This is a very picturesque cafe, on a lovely beach. We haven't eaten here much only a banana bread which was yummy, we go here often for coffee and the coffee is always good. Couple things to be aware of, there can be a lot of flies in this area certain times of year, but that didn't bother us. It can also get really busy at times, not really a problem though, they seem to deal well with large crowds and there's lots of room. Plus you can just go enjoy the beach after! 😍 Follow @salt.and.charcoal for more. Website:

My second time back at this cafe. The main cafe was closed for renovation and they had opened up a small kiosk for coffee and some breakfast items. I had the vegetable wrap that has a piece of nice fluffy omelette. Sauce was great and overall delicious despite the cafe being closed. Coffee was good too. I remember that they made very good food at the cafe prior to the renovations. We also got a table facing the sea so it was very enjoyable. Friendly staff.

The cafe was full, busy with families and their pets, and staff were busy taking and dropping off orders. The food looked really good and the bacon and eggs were delicious with such a generous portion. The woodfired rye with boysenberry wasn’t quite as nice. It was hard, oily and disappointing. Couldn’t catch the waitress to let them know. Will come back again though, thank you!
