Available seven days a week, the new breakfast offering features made-to-order hot dishes and freshly brewed coffee, best enjoyed from the terrace overlooking the estate’s lake and vineyard views. Cosy up this winter at Bettenays, which has introduced two new experiences designed for cooler days and crisp evenings. For those who prefer not to share, the new Grazing Cup For One pairs a curated selection of local cheeses and cured meats with a glass of wine, the perfect excuse for a solo moment of indulgence. Looking for something more immersive, guests can now reserve a private firepit and settle in beside the flames with a glass in hand.

Take a little longer over lunch at Clairault Streicker this winter. Available Wednesday to Friday until the end of June, a complimentary Discovery Wine Pairing accompanies every seasonal three-course long lunch, with each wine carefully selected to complement the flavours of the menu.

Settle in on the Willespie verandah this winter, where acclaimed WA chef Melissa Palinkas is bringing fire-driven cooking to the cellar door. Choose between The Long Table, a four-course shared lunch experience on Saturdays, or Braizen on Sundays, featuring a rotating fire-cooked hero dish alongside seasonal share plates and desserts.

Keep an eye on Wayfinder Farm & Winery, set to open its doors in Cowaramup in August. The new destination brings together seasonal dining, wine tastings and immersive farm experiences, offering visitors the chance to connect with the vineyard, winery and market garden in one thoughtfully designed setting.

An unexpected gem in Cowaramup’s light industrial area Record Coffee Roasters is worth a visit for your morning caffeine hit. They package their beans like cool craft beer in recyclable, reusable cans, reflecting their commitment to sustainability

Add a new cellar door to your winter wine trail with Trait Wines, one of the region’s newest openings. Created by husband-and-wife team Theo Truyts and Clare Trythall, Trait is built around a lovingly restored old vineyard and a hands-on approach to small-batch winemaking. Drop in to discover the boutique producer’s highly acclaimed chardonnays and a fresh perspective on Margaret River wine.

Discover a new way to experience wine tasting at the Idée Fixe Salon, an intimate seated tasting space at Australia’s first dedicated Blanc de Blancs House. Designed to showcase the elegance and craftsmanship behind the wines, the new experience offers a more immersive tasting journey.

Pull up a chair at Sons & Daughters, one of Margaret River town’s newest cellar door and distillery experiences. Showcasing small-batch wines, spirits and fortifieds, it’s the kind of place that invites you to linger a little longer over a grazing platter and a glass.

Grab your morning coffee, enjoy a milkshake or treat your four-legged travel companion to a puppychino at the newly opened Lola & Ivy Kiosk at BIG4 Dunsborough Southern Stars Holiday Park. Open daily, this convenient new addition is serving up simple holiday essentials, making it even easier for guests to settle into holiday mode.

Raise a glass to the coast with Wise Wine’s new Busselton Jetty Gin range, created in collaboration with Busselton Jetty. Inspired by the flavours and landscapes of the South West, the small-batch gins feature coastal botanicals and artwork celebrating this iconic stretch of coastline.

Winter’s favourite festival is back, with the Cabin Fever 2026 program now live. Returning from 17–26 July, the much-loved event will once again bring together the region’s food, wine, music and creative communities for ten days of unforgettable winter experiences.
