Tours

Overview

The award winning Rustico Tapas Bar has arrived in the South West introducing Margaret River to its world class tapas, hospitality, shared plate, Mediterranean style fare.

More information

Open everyday from 11am for lunch, visit before heading back to Perth or enjoy "a long late lunch" with the kitchen taking orders until 5pm.

The 6 course tapas degustation with matching wines is the most popular way to dine, maybe you fancy a family Paella with a jug of sangria or you can simply enjoy a bottle of wine on the deck whilst indulging in the European cheese board. We have areas we are happy to accommodate you and your dog if it would like to join you for lunch.

If you don't have time for lunch why not pop in to buy some of our delicious European cheeses to take home.

Rustico is a family friendly restaurant situated off Harmans Mill Road on the beautiful Hay Shed Hill Vineyard property so make sure you have time to do a wine tasting while your here while the kids run round the lawn. We are also very close to the Margaret River Chocolate Factory if you still have space for something sweet after lunch.

Absolutely the best meals, amazing service and beautiful grounds. Not too expensive but enough to be fancy and relaxed at the same time. Loved the mackerel and partner loved the pork belly. Everything tasted amazing bar maybe the gnocchi, a tad bland. But incredible overall.

We had the degustation. Whilst there's nothing to complain about, there's also nothing to rave about. It was nice, very busy but I wouldn't rush back. The service was good, the cocktails were okay, the wines were not to our taste.

First visit to Rustico.Di and I lashed out with the 6 course degustation lunch.Di is not always a fan of these types of meal as there are invariably dishes that she doesn't like but she jumped in.I loved every course and particularly enjoyed the goat cheese and scallops. The presentation was sensational and the service super friendly and relaxed. The only downside was the table and chairs. The table was a bit low for the chairs making it a bit difficult to lean forward and relax your elbows on the table. Plus the table legs were rather obtrusive. Ok minor issues but nevertheless important in a restaurant!A brilliant place and we'll be back.
