Swings & Roundabouts cellar door is where it all began... a comfortable, versatile space, filled with music with a beat, open fires, cosy corners and a huge lawn with arguably the best views in Margaret River. Their wines are reflective of northern Margaret River, Mediterranean in style and best enjoyed with friends and family. Food to match is simple and rustic, loaded with delicious flavours and great to share.
The name Swings & Roundabouts comes from the popular expression and is used to encapsulate the eternal balancing act between the various aspects of grape and wine production. What you lose on the swings, you pick up on the roundabouts.

Swings & Roundabouts grow great fruit and make great wine, but it isn’t an exact science. There are judgements in the vineyard and art in the winery that ultimately determine the character of what we drink. Their name celebrates the creative and skilled balancing act performed by nature and their winemakers to develop the individuality and quality of what is in the bottle.

My friend told me the pizzas here was good and they are the best pizzas I had in any winery!! Service is great, especially from the gentleman serving the wine tasting. The scenery outside is very pretty and they have 2 playgrounds which kids will love. No wonder the carpark was full when we arrived!

Really enjoyed ourselves here. Gorgeous grounds - we had a good time exploring the playground (and we are all adults!) The pizzas were great - but one really stood out - the STRACCIATELLA with garlic prawns, mushrooms and rocket. Would love to spend more time on the beautiful grounds. Highly recommended!

Family friendly, pet friendly industrial finished restaurant and ground. Something for everyone. Pizza was surprisingly good. Busy but food was on the table in under 10 minutes using the online ordering system with lovely wines to sample and purchase.

I’d say this place is the best place in MR for families to visit. Lovely view, fantastic playgrounds and dog friendly was a bonus. It would be better to book in before you go as I couldn’t get a shady table when I went (not saying it’s their fault, was mine who didn’t book in advance). You might think there isn’t a lot of options for food but with covid resulting staff shortage I totally understand. I tried 3 pizzas and they were all tasty as well as the pumpkin salad. Even though there was a bit of wait time, we weren’t bored at all taking photos and playing at playgrounds. I will be back with family friends!!
