THEIR STORY
The name, Swings & Roundabouts, encapsulates the timeless dance between the diverse elements of grape and wine production. Just like in life, what we might lose in one aspect, we gain in another. The philosophy reverberates through the very vines that bear their grapes and the artistry that unfolds in the winery.

THE VINEYARDS
In the heart of the northern Margaret River region, where the land and sea converse in a symphony of flavours, their story thrives. Anchored by two remarkable vineyards, each with a unique tale to tell. The 40+ year old Wildwood Vineyard is a tribute to time itself. Here, ancient dry grown vines weave a narrative of resilience and tradition. Their roots delve deep into the earth, drawing character from the soils and wisdom from decades of seasons. The Wildwood Vineyard is a testament to the enduring beauty of nature's legacy. On the other hand, the Brash Road Vineyard echoes a modern tale of sustainability and innovation. With the esteemed certification of sustainability, this vineyard represents a commitment to nurturing the land that nurtures us. The vines flourish in an ecosystem where balance reigns supreme. Brash Road Vineyard stands as a model for the harmonious coexistence of agriculture and nature. The combination of these vineyards with their meticulous winemaking craftsmanship results in wines that transcend expectations. The Mediterranean-like climate of the region, characterised by temperate breezes and fertile soils, imparts a distinct personality to our creations. The essence of Margaret River flows through every bottle, reflecting the region's unique terroir. With Swings & Roundabouts, it's not just about what's in the bottle; it's about the journey that brings that bottle to life. Their name echoes the dance of nature and humanity, of tradition and innovation, and of balance and creativity. As you open a bottle of Swings & Roundabouts, you partake in the narrative of all our vineyards, the legacy of Margaret River, and the artistry of winemaking.

Lovely place for good pizzas. Crust was thin but moist and soft. We were there during the Easter break and the place was busy. Service could be better as we have to help ourselves with fork and knives etc. Many nice spots for photos.

A little over 10 years ago, on a warm winter afternoon, we took an impromptu turn when we spotted a sign that read "Woodfired Pizza". Not that we were hungry but it was approaching lunch time. We ended up having some amazing pizzas at a small but wonderful place - Swings and Roundabouts and we raved about the place, the cute outdoors, the food and the service, to all our friends. 10 years on and a massive upgrade to the facility, we continue to visit this vibrant restaurant not for the wine (we don't consume alcohol) but for the food and the experience. When we thought the food couldn't get any better, we seem to be proven wrong every time with the pizzas that seem to be ever-evolving. This is one place we have brought all our friends and visitors to Perth to and the verdict has been unanimous over the years - excellent. Looking forward to continuing our lunch stops and bringing along more friends.

Lunch could be a whole day affair here (in an excellent way). The premise is huge with large dining areas (inside and outside), multiple playgrounds, has ice cream stall (although limited flavours), wine tasting station and a helipad for Helicopter joy rides. Food and service are excellent despite the business. Worth a visit. Dog friendly too.

On our way down south, we stopped by here for lunch. The place is so picturesque and exactly how I would imagined it if I were to read the description from a book. Like it's name, there are plenty of swings for adults and children to indulge in. I just had to go around and take photos of the surrounding landscape. The restaurant is huge with both indoor and outdoor seating. Servers were darting in and out and they were efficient, warm and friendly. The food were delicious and we were ravenous. I like the tables with high chairs. This place is ideal for families as there are ample space for kids to run around and the swings, slides etc proved to be very popular with the kids whilst the parents chill with a glass of wine.
